| Well, I've now re-read this story, and it's just as good now as it was the first time, powerful and emotional, without a clear good or evil, and with a very human element.
Hermione and Severus having their arguments worked well, and was painful to watch.
At the end, Lucius comes across very well, and I can certainly understand "his" type of people, those who are willing to truly go the distance for their family. Hermione has some discussions with Severus ahead of her, on what it means to be able to do that. What really struck me is that Lucius and Severus truly know what they are capable of, and accept themselves... though Severus has a little bit to go in knowing himself, given how long it took to realize he loved Hermione.

| YES! I was totally doubting him for awhile there. I was all like, "Nooooo," and practically fell off my chair. And then when he began to think about love and what it meant... and how it realistically drew him to his conclusion, '"I love her."' I stood up and danced a jig and clapped my hands and was all like, "Woohoo!" | This story was quite wonderful and intriguing. It's true that Hermione and others frustrated me sometimes, but they are still teenagers, right? I thought you kept everyone as in character as possible, allowing for your story to unfold. I thought both Severus and Hermione proved to each other that they truly loved each other and would do anything for the other person. Marriage was not important in their relationship to prove their love since they had already proved it. I look forward to reading more of your fiction in the future. | |||

| Ok.. i had to review and tell u how MEAN u r... OMG... i was freaking out when I first read this... thinking.. NO... omg.. this has to be a dream... and skimming through it to where Snape said, 'Damn Dream'... lol.. damn right it was a dream... u were about to crush all of my dreams... lol... great chapter and i love the story!!!! This story was so cool!
I mean, in the first part of the story: The seduction was so hot, and I really could imagine Snape saying things with a sily voice :P
And yeah, every chapter made me more and more excited!
I loved this story, and the ending was so cute! Well done!

| I just reread this chappie for the first time in awhile, and Ron being caught with Pansy reminds me SO MUCH of a very early Buffy scene when Willow caught Xander & Cordy. She said "You'd rather be with someone you hate than be with me." Sounds like something Hermione would say, even if she wasn't ready yet. Author's Response: I never did get into the Buffy series, but from everything I hear about it, I definitely wish that I had. There's still time though, eh? I'm thinking of buying the seasons and starting out that way. :) | |||
