| I really like this story, but I think its unfair that you are now including details from HBP. Kind of like changing the rules in mid-game. I noticed small things in each update since HBP was released, but this chapter is full of spoilers. You should, at least, be putting the spoiler warning on this fic for those poor folks who haven't had the chance to read book six!!
As I said before, I think this story is good. I particularly liked scheming Snape in the first several chapters. I wonder where this will end up though, if you want to straddle between old cannon Snape and new cannon Snape. Define him -- be decisive!! Author's Response: Excuse me, but before or after HBP came out, I never said what type of Snape this was. And I bloody well shouldn't have to. This is MY Snape, I can make him a half-blood wizard and poor if I'd like. That's my perrogative. I planned on having a poor Snape all along. If you will remember back in chapter two, I foreshadowed his home when they were Apparating. I didn't mention any names or anything, such as Spinners End or that his mum was a Prince in this chapter. When the book came out, I was pleased, as his home is quite like I imagined it to be--poor. I suppose I'll go paste on an HBP warning for anyone that hasn't read the book and happens to draw this conclusion (which I don't see how if they've not read it). How would they know? They must have been spoiled before to recognize the mill and what have you. I certainly don't appreciate your tone. Sounds like you were simply looking for something to fuss about. As far as my previous chapters having more information from the book, I have no idea what you're talking about. I definitely made sure that there was no HBP influence in it, and that's partially why I delayed this chapter. I simply advise you to stop reading now if you consider him straddled. Snape will remain as he is here--My Snape. Good of you to have read, glad you liked the first few chapters, and pity you won't continue on. Cheers. I hope you find something less on the fence. Back to the chapter. I think Hermione was victim of the sudden change in her life (she had to live with Snape without her friends, sleep with him etc). Well done as usual. | I can't wait to find out what both Malfoys are up to! (No good I am sure!) I know Snape wants hermione to be his ideal woman and all, but how is she supposed to know what he wants if he won't tell her? And it is a bit unfair for him to compair her to Narcissa, since Mrs. Malfoy has 20 years experience running a household etc. But I am sure Hermione will rise to the challenge and do her best. With her personality, I am sure she will bloom with a few compliments and nudges in the right direction. Author's Response: lol It's up now. hope you aren't disappointed.
