| So is Snape really dead? What was the white light Voldemort sent Hermione's way (that Snape ended up intercepting)? He really can't be dead after all that's happened!!! I agree with you that Hermione just made things so much worse by going to the battle. Did she make any difference (besides messing Severus up!) by going? I think not! I just hope her idiocy (can't believe I'm using that word to describe Hermione) didn't cause Snape his life! Author's Response: Snape was not hit with a Killing Curse, no. I don't think there is any way that Hermione would stay at home and wait while her friends are out in a battle. That's just the way I feel, and if I were her, I'd be there, too, trying to "help" my man. It's just unfortunate for her that old Voldie interfered when he did. I still have a couple of chapters left though. In fact, I believe the next one with have some resolution for all. Cheers and Thanks! :) | |||

| That was great southern! The battle was visual and believable, but was wrapped up too neatly. I like the reference to Merope Gaunt, it ties in nicely. Please get the new chapters out soon, the story's not completely over yet. I want to know how everyone fared and how Hermione will cope. Author's Response: Yes, I've a naughty habit of tying things up as neatly as possible most of the time. I hate unsolved mysterious as a reader, so I tend to reflect that as an author. | OH MY GOD! Snape is dead! I have to say although I haven't reviewed until now I am a huge fan of this fic. I have truly enjoyed everything about it, the way you kept Snape an evil snarky self serving bat while still making his love for Hermione believable and heart warming in a way only Snape fans can truely appreciate. An exceptional fic. I wish Snape could live though. Author's Response: I am quite happy that you've enjoyed this! I've hoped that things would come about and surprise people, leaving clues along the way as to what has really happened. Not many people have noticed them. We will see Snape again... | Ahhhh! I know Severus isn't dead, but what...form/state is he in? Has Hermione figured out he still exists or does she grieve for him? You said the next chapter will show the passage of time, so I assume - Ginny and Draco marry and have the baby, the Malfoys are released (?), Harry and Pansy marry (?), and Hermione...
While I'm sorry to see this end, I can't wait to see what happens. Author's Response: He's a vessel for nothing more than... Hehe! They'll just need a bit of time to figure out how to fix it... if they can. The next chapter will have some time passage, but it won't be too far off into the future. The Malfoys will be out and about. :) Pansy and Harry will stay together, too. More up soon. I just have to get it out. LOL | |||

| Hi, SW69. I'm new to fan fiction in general but my issues with HBP led me to seek some out. This was one of the first ones I found and it has set an extremely high standard for others to meet. So, I'm sorry to see it end. I don't know what others have responded to, but I found myself reading this as Snape's story more the Hermione's. As a result, despite the visions seen, I half expected Hermione to be lost at the end and not Severus. Which would have been interesting I think, but this is great as well. I suspect there must be a bit left since it's unclear what happened. I suppose Snape has been reduced to some sort of vegetable given what Voldemort said earlier. Like maybe some sort fo super obliviate (however you spell that) was used. For him a fate worse then death I suspect. Anxious to see how this resolves, but hoping it never does. Sort of the same way I feel about the publication of book 7. LOL. Author's Response: Teehee! Right. I worded things purposely and can't believe that most people didn't "catch" that he wasn't sending something that would kill Hermione, thus, Snape lives. I'll have something up soon. I know exactly what I want done, but I just need to write it down. Someone just sent me a message fussing me for killing off Snape and saying they'll never read my work again. Good Lord? I'm shaking my head about that and am quite miffed. Anyway, more up soon! Thank you. | |||
