| Disgusting! Is this what you young people consider as courting? In my day we would take a brisk chaperoned walk along the promonade. Wouldn't hold hands until we'd celebrated four years of marriage. Now it's all jerking, moaning, panting and PENIS! Did Jane Austen stoop so low? Did Darcy have a penis? Oh, I doubt it. Oh, I know, he was like one of those male dolls with nothing at all down low. | I'm glad Severus didn't get hexed at Grimmauld. He really needs to teach Occlumency to Hermione. Isn't Molly reaching out to Pansy, who could've been her daughter-in-law? Hmm, so Pansy and Harry..... that could work! I'm glad Bill, Charlie, and Arthur were reasonable with Severus. I think Ginny's right about the baby news being hope to her family, BUT if they know she's pregnant, they won't want her and Draco to be near any battlefield - and that's apparently where they'll need to be at some point, if I remember the centaurs' words correctly (and that's a big "IF"). Thanks for the new chapter! I'll be waiting for Friday for your next. Author's Response: It might be a bit tricky to teach her Occlumency right now, ending up leaving her mind more open than it already is. I'm sure Molly is trying to comfort everyone, but there are so many, plus she's grieving too. I find Pansy to be a bit reserved, but she and Harry will get close. :) I don't think they'll be able to keep Ginny away this time. Wicked Grin... You are correct. | WOW! I've been reading this story for the past two days and I must say that it is one of very few stories that gets even better with the next chapter.
Your characterization of our dear Severus is SO SPOT ON! I've never pictured him inclined towards doing the right thing for anyone but himself. However, I can see an emotion such as love for someone else overpowering whatever selfish inclinations he may have -- causing a conflict you so brilliantly illustrated in this last chapter.
