| Wow! Severus' nickname should be WD-40! Amazing. I cannot believe how kind and at the same time, sneaky he is. | I really like you Snape here - he is the classic Slytherin. Layers apon layers of plans and different stratgies for every move that can be made. I think it is kind of scary that he was watching Ron and Pansy so closely, but not interferring until Hermione was there. Would he have let things go much farther if she had not be out and about? And how did he know she was patrolling again - or again was it just happenstance? Author's Response: No, he would have stepped in if they really had started up something. He will always seem to know where Hermione is (will be explained in the next chapter ) He had hoped she would come back down b/c he'd seen Ron and Pansy skive off. That was the most they'd ever done. | Perfect. I do so love it when I am not quite sure which side Severus is one until he either has someone worth fighting for, or when he is the ultimate Slytherin and is waiting to see witch side comes out victorious. I mean because after all if you are going to be a double agent for more than half your life you might as well get something out of it.
