| this has been a great read. i love the portrayal of snape as more calculated and manipulating in regards to hermione- i like that hermione is now evening out the footing and deciding to fight fire with fire. i was devistated when ron died- i loved the ron pansy and i iked this bit with harry and pansy-very nice. ginny and draco are gorgeous- i want the family to find out about her pregnancy.. There is a good part (so I think) with Draco and Ginny and her family in the next chapter. Unfortunately, Hermione takes a step back into confusion. | I think I see a couple in the works, it actually makes sense as they are both grieving for the loss of someone and people often find solice in arms of someone who understands their pain. -- I am really happy that Hermione is taking things as they come, rather than second guessing both herself and Severus. I also think that it is about time they both declared their feeling for each other. Hermione should never doubt Severus' feelings for her, there is no way that he would ever make himself vunerable to another person in that manner, especially after what happened with Lily. -- Draco and Ginny arguing over whether or not to tell about the baby is funny, because they are both correct. Ginny because a baby can bring joy in a time of sorrow, and Draco because the shock might kill them, or get him killed. -- Lovely as always. --- B Author's Response: It's so easy to talk to someone that understands what you're going through. You know they are really listening. Ah, Hermione does do a bit of second guessing again. Oops, but she has good reason. Things will be a little rocky. | Good chapter! The Pansy and Harry part was funny, and kind of sweet. I'm liking the way you portray Pansy. I'm happy Hermione is seen things a bit more in Severus way (at least she asked about his friends). I think she needs to walk around a bit more and have a conversation or two with people... is there any DE that could show her they're people too and not only killers? I mean, she doesn't need to like them but make her think a bit about that. After all, she needs to stop being so naive if she's going to keep up with Severus' game in the war. | Great chapter! Can't wait to read more. Haven't seen Voldie about and am starting to miss him... Quick question: why didn't DD try to alert Molly or Arthur that he was in the basement? He was incapacitated but he could have sent Faukes. For such a cunning man he seems to have put a lot of faith on Severus. Didn't he think he would need a plan C? Author's Response: I'd like to think that Fawkes didn't want to leave his side, and he was too "hexed" to do anything but rest. I'm certain he had another plan... just in case, but he knew Severus would make the right decision. I hope you like the next bit. I don't have Voldie, but I do have a Death Eater! | |||

| I can think of few ways to get closer than to have someone help you take a piss. I liked this chapter. It had sort of a bridge feeling to it, and it was really sweet. Author's Response: Yes, I agree. They will be getting closer via other ways. I wanted to convey that Pansy was trustworthy and willing to do anything to help, even hold a bedpan, which some would have thought to be beneath her. I figured some people wouldn't approve of this, but the idea stuck with me, forcing me to use it. Harry needs all the help he can get--especially from Snape. Coming soon. Cheers. | |||

The first scene with Hermione talking to Voldemort was great. You had me almost buying into the vision he painted

| Very good chapter. I don't think Severus was sappy at all here. Poor bored Hermione! I liked the Pansy and Harry bit as well. Not bad, it was only natural.
