| Fabulous chapter!! So if I'm reading correctly, Harry and Dumbledore are in hiding - they lost the battle but not the war. And Neville is just Stunned, so he (the other possible candidate to kill Voldy) is around to help. I figured you had a heroic death for Ron with so much emphasis on him at the start, but I do hope Hermione doesn't feel guilty about his remark that he loved her - and that she doesn't tell Pansy about it. As for Draco and Ginny, will the centaurs see them taking Dumbledore's side? Will Lucius and Cissa be called on to help now? Gabrielle is alive but missing? Where is the next chapter???? Author's Response: You are right about everything. Hermione won't feel all that guilty, and she'll be very mature when Pansy asks her by not saying a word of it. The centaurs will be back again. Lucius and Cissy may or may not live... hehe... Gabrielle is gone. Likely dead. | |||

| Hermione has no wand, her mind has been bewitched in order to keep her subdued, not unlike the cortisans' of old that were kept high on opium to keep them meek and unchallenging. In this new world order she will have to silent and compliant to maintain the Dark Lord's approval. When she laughed at the Centaurs late arrival it could have been understood that she was laughing at the defeat of the order, Voldemort had just said his rousing speech. Was Ron the dead figure in the prophecy? Author's Response: Ron was not the dead figure in the prophecy. What Voldie doesn't realize is that will still come. muahahaha... She will talk to the dark lord in the next chapter but only for a moment. She has a good convo with snape, but in chapter 31, she'll really have a long talk with the dark lord... and all I can say is, wow! | |||

| I think as long as Harry lives, Voldemorts victory is going to be short lived. So as long as Voldemort is 'victorious' I'm guessing that it where we'll find Snape. The first half of this chapter just smelled of 'wrapping things up'...I just had that feeling that bad things were going down...poor Pansy, just when she thinks she can open her heart to Ron he's gone...no surprise Ginny turning up preggers (she is a Weasley afterall!). Even though so much has happened, it still feels like we are standing on the edge of something bigger (and probably not good either). What kind of spell did Snape put on Hermione and where the hell is he taking her? One of my favorite parts, Lupin knowing Ginny was pregnant because he could smell her. I love it when they make Lupin use his super human werewolf smell to find stuff out.

| Freaky chapter that took a sudden change from the direction that I had thought it was going. Poor Ron. Poor Hermione. Poor Harry.
