| The sexual tension is terrific and the 'sex' scenes are well-done so far. One minor detail that bothered me in this chapter (15): Snape claims oral sex is not sex. Is that just his opinion? Factually speaking, oral sex is still sex. It can be penetrative in its own way and you can catch an STD. Too many teens and preteens out there are sexually active way too early (before they can handle the emotional repercussions or know how to protect themselves) because of this myth. Author's Response: It's his opinion of course. She knows better, however, which is why she feels that they've had sex already. He considers actual penetration as sex. But thanks. | |||

| So what does Hermione have up her sleeve that she needs to plot with Harry? Hummm Makes me think that maybe she will be the key to the battle and not prophecy boy. I do feel better about Hermione and Severus. When she was able to tell Ginny that he is stubborn is when I knew she had not given up on their relationship. Her rational chat with him at the burrow enforced that belief. As always I am eagerly anticipating the next part. Will it be soon you think? Author's Response: She will definitely have a good impact on things, but Harry is the one who will do what needs to be done. She's just plain Hermione here, no SuperStarActionGirl!!! LOL. She just wants to plan things out and touch base with Harry, but you know how things don't always go as planned. I'm not halfway through with the next part yet, but I should have it off to beta tomorrow. She's pretty quick. So, not too much longer. Thanks! | |||

| If Nagini hadn't died with the curses that hit her before she Potkeyed away, then they prolly wouldn;t have been able to stop her anyway... But "going at it" while on duty was a bloody dumb thing to do... I like Lupin so I can forgive that... for now.
As far as Hermione and Snape go... I'm not sure I even wanna go there. Snape is doing what he thinks is best but that is soooo not how Hermione is seeing it, and personally... I have to agree with Hermione.
Anyway, awsome chapter (though Snape is really Out of Character compared to the books, but we never see Snape's personal side there either...) and I cant wait to read the next one. Author's Response: *sigh* I'm so not in the mood to defend my charactizations right now. But I guess I'll ask anyway. How is he out of character as compared to canon? Is it because he's kinder to Harry? Well, all I can say is that it is prudent for him to be so at this moment, though he'll never truly like him. The only time we see Snape when he's not colored by Harry's poisoned view is in chapter 2 of HBP, and he is mysterious, smooth, and seems to know exactly what to say. As you stated, we don't get his pov so we don't know exactly what goes on in his mind. This is my interpretation, however, and I quite like devious Snape. Other than that, I'll just say that this is an AU tale, and it doesn't actually follow the new canon, although I've weaved some things in. I hate Tonks and don't really care much for Lupin, so I put in a bit of wrecklessness on their parts. There is a method to my madness, though, as I have reason to want Voldemort incensed with them. Hermione is a brat. She's lucky he even tried to comfort her instead of being "dick" Snape and just bypassing her room. Things will get better... maybe. Hope you continue to read and sorry you are disappointed in the story--especially after 37 chapters. Snape won't change in the next couple of chapters though. He'll still be in this charcter. | |||
