Reviews for The Price of Madness

Definitely fishy! Butterflies... What would a white bee know of butterflies? I wonder how he'd respond to talking with Snape? My mind is definitely racing on this. I hope your fingers are dancing happily over the keyboard, typing up the next chapter. :-)

~Lisa

Author's Response: In fact, after work today isat my big butt down and wrote the whole first draft for the next chapter! Woot for me! Thanks Lisa! You are always so sweet to me! :)

And the plot thickens... I am eager to see how this progresses. Now I am just guessing, but is Hermione's first step to have a "nature" talk with her old headmaster? After all what good is it being a know-it-all if you cannot if you cannt out-smart people, even very smart people, from time to time? Keep it coming and thanks for sharing. JoAnne

Author's Response: I'm afraid that Hermione would get the same response that Harry and Remus did. But she certainly does have a talk planned with someone. Thanks for the sweet review! :)

Another great chapter! Are the butterflies a clue from Albus? And it does not sound at all like Insane Snape is act. Bummer. I hope that he can be brought around somehow. Thanks for the nice update. Good way to start a long weekend :)

Author's Response: Dang! So many things I want to say, and I can't say a one! Just try to bear with me and keep reading! Thanks Sooz! :)

i have to say i found some things a bit funny yet reading this chapter alot of things fit together now and i would love to see how Hermione solves but what is snape looking for, to be forgiven, to bring the headmaster back, a way to get rid of the dark lord?

Author's Response: Shall I just tell you then? I won't! I won't tell you! *giggle* I admit that this fic starts out a bit mysterious, but as we go along, things should make more and more sense as more and more is revealed. It's been really hard for me not to rush it, so I've been trying to keep myself from telling everything all at once! Thanks for reading, and thanks for the sweet review! :)

Thanks for the update! At first it was bothering me that Snape kept calling everyone whores, but now it's really funny. Especially when I re-read the line about the "whores don't know how to paint"...*lmao* And I just love *love* that you're picturing Harry and Ron in a more mature light. I hope they stay that way even after they find out who the informants are.

Author's Response: The whole whore thing will come back to haunt us, and it will eventually explained, but not any time soon! *snort* Aren't I the most wicked tease? I'm glad that you like my Ron and Harry. I do try to let them act reasonably, instead of like goofy 13 year olds. I find them more interesting that way. Of course, they'll still have their moments... Thanks for reading and thanks for the kind review! :)

Ahhh a mystery is presented and we know who is going to solve it.

Author's Response: Our resident Know-it-all, of course! Thanks Droxy! :)

Hmmm... butterflies. Belived by many cultures, the Aztecs included, to be the souls of the dead, come to visit and comfort the living. And being one who is certifiably crazy (I have the huge case file to prove it!), I am loving this fic! It's not often we see a strong character have a truely negative reaction to stress and trauma! Snape will never be the man he was and only time will tell what kind of man he may become. And I'll bet he'll always have "triggers". I know I do. >:(

Author's Response: I think that we all of us have issues to deal with, and I don't think any writer is completely sane. But so what? Sanity is so very boring! Knowing what I know, that Aztec belief is quite interesting. But don't read too much into that, it might not be for the reason that you think. ;) Thanks for the kind review! :)
