| well well well i can finally go to bed! i started this around 10pm and here i am, 4am, waaay too late to get a decent rest but im glad i managed to read it all!
it's a truly believable piece of work and for that, you deserve higher praise than anyone else because i just hate it when snape & hermione goes ooc, and authors do tend to do that.

| probably the best story I've read this year...way better than Ms Rowling's total botch-up of her own creation...amusing and moving by turns...and really imaginative and clever use of 'goblin magic'...at first I was dissappointed that you havn't 'finished' it...but then I decided I quite like ending at this point, after all, I cannot imagine that you can add anything 'new' from this point...a battle-scene is inevitable, as is a casualty list...both are best left to the readers' imagination...although if you do decide to add more I'll be first in line to read it. | I had read this once or twice before and picked it up again, not realizing that it was unfinished. *weeps*

| Could be worse There were two English writers with that name: Anthony Trollop of Barchester Chronicles fame and his mother, Mrs Frances Trollop, whose most famous book was Domestic Manners of the Americans. The Americans were not amused by it, and I believe they were the ones to start using 'trollop' as a synonym for whore. Author's Response: OMG! That is hysterical! | |||

| I just love this story and even knowing that it is most likely abonded I couldn't help but reading it over again when the ss/hg quiz provided a link to it. I would like to nag you a bit though: It seems to be so close to the end, and you have done such a extencive and brilliant work to submit this 29 chapters; it is a shame for this brilliant story not to be finished and join the rank of really outstanding Hermione/ Severus stories. You have written, and completed such magnificient stories as "Naked Journey" and "Overcome with feeling" among others, you have all reason in the world to take pride in your work, please, please, please finish "The Price of Madness" too? :-))) Author's Response: You are too kind! | oh, I love this story, it is one my all time favorites and, to me, gets the Harry Potter story back on track after being derailed by HBP. I am quite willing to wait for the next chapter whenever that is as long as you promise there WILL BE A NEXT ONE! I esp want 2 find out what happens next. | |||
