| 03-11-2006 11:36 I was so pleased to see another update to this story, it is one of my favourites. I wonder what Severus is working on in the lab that keeps exploding? I think its sweet and sad that he watches Hermione as she sleeps. I think if I woke up to see him standing there, I wouldn't send him back to his own bed, I'd just let him snuggle in with me. Looking forward to finding out what has Bill spooked about that parchment. As one reviewer has already pointed out, the saying is "another think coming ..." At least, that's the way I've always heard it in the UK, but what's one letter between friends. *grin* Author's Response: Hmmm... SH seems to have eaten my response. I'll try it again, and if it eventually posts twice, my appologies. I think that Hermione chases him off because she's afraid that she'll break her vow not to let things go too far while he's ill. As for what severus is working on, he won't even tell me! :D As far as the “Think” vs “Thing” debate. The best that I can guess through some online research is that both phrases are equally valid, both here in the US and over in the UK, but in both locals, folks argue over what is correct. In my opinion, if so many folks are willing to argue both sides, then they are both correct. I expect that folks use the phrase that was in common usage where they grew up, and that differs depending on location. Here’s a quote I got from a Brit about it: *quote* OK, i'm not australian, so perhaps you are telling the truth. but i can say that in 'England', it would most likely be used as: "you've got another thing coming" *end quote* There are other Brits that argue just as strongly that the word is “think”. So there you have it. Both versions are in common usage, and everyone is certain that the way they say it is the correct way. Isn’t language fun! :D Thanks so much for your kind review. I thoroughly enjoyed the comical bits with Bill's office and Severus' attempt to blow himself up. Author's Response: When Bill tells us what's up, you'll have to tell me what your suspicions were.
