| Happy birthday. I've neglected to read this tale for some time now (bad SSL!) but I got to gorge on multiple chapters today. This story is brilliant (probably have said that already). I loved Prat!Ron several chapters back. For all the fics I have read that have Ron yelling at Hermione for being with Snape, he actually had valid reasons for being worried about her.
There must have been other parts of this fic that I liked as well... but my memory is very dim... Keep on with the greatness of the story. =] Author's Response: No worries! I know how hard it is to keep up with WIPs. I've got some that never have caught up with, but I never seem to have enough time! Poor Ron! Lovely chapter, happy for the building relationship between Severus and Hermione, although we must get the mad part out of the story, in the end. It wouldn't look nice for the couple if he was mad, now would it?

| Hahahahahahaha. Mad like a hatter, mad like a fox, only in insanity can some truth be seen, and only in insanity can some bridges be crossed.
I have to like how Severus roped Ron and Harry into keeping Hermione from doing anything foolish with the cup.
OTOH, would having a robot drop the cup into an industrial furnace work? Or working on it from range? Or with a potion? Simple solutions for simple problems - don't use magic if you don't have to. Author's Response: You hit the nail on the head! Severus could have simply asked Harry and Ron to help keep an eye on her, but that wasn't Slytherin enough! Just as Hagrid couldn't believe that James and Lily could be killed in a car crash, I don't think the cup can be destroyed by Muggle means. Much like in Lord of the Rings, when Gimli tries to destroy the ring with his ax. Thanks so much for the kind review! :) | |||
