| Snape is adorable although I hope that he will return to his old self sooner or later. While reading this chapter, I had to think of Edgar playing the fool in "King Lear". In Shakespeare's plays the fools often are the reasonable characters. And doesn't King Lear himself see things much clearer after he lost his mind? Please don't ask what I want to say with this. It just popped into my head. Author's Response: I think that you just made my day! Fools and madmen often have strange insights in literature, and even in life. My Sanpe may be mad as a hatter, but that doesn't make him completely disfunctional. If you get that, then I must be doing something right! You rock! :) | |||

| Wholly engrossing. I am so capitvated by your characterization of Snape. It's like look at him through a funhouse mirror. You catch glimpses of the many faces of Severus, but everything is distorted and nonsensical. Author's Response: You know, you have just described exactly what I'm trying do with severus, and I never would have put it so well. | Thanks for the new installment. Can't blame Hermione for feeling strangely attracted to madman!Snape (or is he crazy like a fox?), since I find him weirdly appealing myself. But what is the "worst one" to which Remus alludes? (I mean, worse than hexed nipples?) Oh well, more revelations to anticipate. Author's Response: The worst one is one that Remus already mentioned, so I'll give in to my desire to tell you! That's any reference to Albus. It eases my mind to hear that you find mad Snape strangely appealing. If my readers don't think he is, then they'll never buy Hermione thinking so! And this is a romance, after all.
