| Okay - the chapter title fooled me - I was all ready for a little light snogging but all we did was talk about it. No fair! That said, another brilliant chapter, Pooka! Methinks the ingredients are for a potion to get the soul out of the cup, but me often thinks wrong, so I'm waiting for the next chapter with great anticipation! Author's Response: *giggle* That title was a little Slytherin of me, wasn't it? We'll get back to the snogging eventually, promise! Hmm... | Great chapter – funny, witty, amusing. Severus seems quite normal here – apart from his smiles - and Hermione more on the irrational side. Withholding information is doing it for her – the way to make her mad. Apart from Severus leaving the room he manages rather well to deal with that. Very funny how Ron&Harry are teasing Hermione about the snogging-information-out-of-Severus. And very touching how they support her, how the show the true value of being friends to one another. Is Hermione a little bit more than disappointed that Severus didn´t want to get in her knickers but to get some potion ingredients? This time the quotation is more to Hermione regards than for Severus, is it? A lot of cheers to Vaughn for her quick beta-reading! Author's Response: Yes, exactly! I was thinking of Hermione when I picked that quote! I would say that Hermione is more than a little disapointed. *giggle* No wonder she's so furious! | He-he- I am back with my reviews! A wonderful chapter yet again. Finally Ron and Harry are showing signs of growing up...but the thing with Snape was really mean!!! I was SO waiting for him to declare that he would give Hermione the solution for the Horcrux in return for her -hmm..- "favours" ,that I actually slapped my hand against my desk!!! Now I have a rather red palm to remind me how you adore teasing your readers....*sighs*
Nevertheless, do update soon...can't wait now for the two of them to take another step in their interactions!

Here our Hermione was getting all her hopes up (and the Tricksy Author was getting all her READERS' hopes up) that the whore-saying Snape would surrender his virtue and his secrets all in one go if Hermione would slide between his sheets -- only to find out that she was wrong, wrong, wrong. Now, to advance the cause, she is going to have to provide the crazy man with volatile ingredients so that he can brew God-knows-what. You have still got us all hooked, Pook -- this story has an enormous readership. Congratulations on that and on your Multifaceted nomination. As usual, can't wait for the next chapter! | Nooo! Evil, evil cliffie.... sort of.
I love the way you've made Severus seem almost... childlike... in some instances, but then very much the same pain-in-the-arse, stubborn (yet completely loveable) git in others. I nearly choked when he ran out of the room yelling "No". I've got a six year old nephew who does the same thing when he hears the words 'Clothes Shopping.'
I can't wait for the next chapter :). And I love your little quote up the top. Freddie was definitely a great man and performer. And... he totally knew what he was on about in that song. Author's Response: I just loved Freddie Mercury, so I couldn't resist quoting a bit of that song. Lol, Severus is a bit immature from time to time, but I always thought he was in the books as well. brave and brilliant, sure, but a little childish all the same. That's exactly what I've been trying my best to do; write a mad Severus that is still recognisably Severus! Thanks! :) | |||
