| Oh my, I rambled on so much that I ended up not praising you NEARLY enough for my tastes. *ahem* ZOMG POOKA YOU'RE THE BEST I LOVE THIS STORY *SQUEEEEE*...No, but seriously. This is one of my all-time favorites. I agree with whoever said that the heartbreaking contrast between Nutters!Snape and ScaryTeacherAndSpy!Snape is very effective, and can I just say that never before have I so adored a madman? | Oh happy day, a whorish update (and a lovely one, at that)! I like how you emphasized that yes, poor Dumbledore is dead; I think we all must admit that now, after JKR has effectively extinguished any hopes to which some of us still clung. *mourning, finally* That being said, I totally agree with your theory about that "AK" not being quite right...something is amiss, and that something is seeming more and more to be some other kind of AK-imposter-spell. It wouldn't have taken much to finish off dear Dumbly-dorr, hmm, as weak and tired and old as he was? Anyway, I think Hermione's subconscious is hinting at things for which her very conscious self is not yet ready--forgetting to bring a book. HA. Oh, Pooka has a wicked gleam in her eye, I can see it! This should be interesting... ;) Author's Response: *sigh* Despite knowing that Albus must be dead, I can't help but hope, just like my poor Harry. Something is definitely wrong with that AK, and I don't think that JKR simply mucked it up. So, I think she's got something up her sleeve. She's rather sneaky, after all! Lol!
