| I love the comparison with Harry killing Dumbledore via the potion, along with Snape killing Dumbledore... just in a different manner. I quite agree with that theory. (Yes, I did read your initial a/n for chapter 1, that you're not trying to write book 7... but you've still taken the canon we've been given and gave it a believable spin.) I also really like your version of the DD/SS argument in the woods. It's a scene I've given a lot of thought to, I like seeing other people's renditions of it. :) Now, why does Snape call her 'whore'? Well all three of them for that matter? LOL! (And WHAT is that man searching for?) Author's Response: That's exactly what I'm trying to do with this story. I'm trying to pay attention to canon, and give it a believable spin, just not neccesarily JKR's spin! *giggle* Severus' whore fixation will eventually be explained, promise! Thanks, Ginny! :) | |||

| Oh, so much detail about that fateful night. I like your interpretation. And I'm very curious to see what you think of the discussion that Hagrid really overheard. :) Author's Response: Personally, I think the bits that Hagrid tells the kids are vaugue at best. And just how mad is Snape? At times he seems very much himself Author's Response: It's been my experience that mental illness is very seldom an "all or nothing" thing. Many folks with mental troubles can seem quite themselves unless something happens to trigger an episode. So that's what I've based Severus' behavior on. Sometimes he's completely uncontrolled, and sometimes he's almost his old self. I'm thrilled that you are enjoying it so far, and thanks for the kind review! :) | |||

| Already an update? Amazing!! You have to write lightning fast day&night to get all that down. And what a wonderful chapter to boot out. A lot of cheers also to your beta Vaughn!! Glad it was Severus who rescued her from her stupid undertaking. Again heart wrenching how he spoke about the thin thread that keeps him to sanity, how he needs her to keep that thread working. And the three kisses! Each one so very special and suitable for the particular circumstance. Very amusing how Severus got Harry&Ron to give Hermione quite a scolding for her idea! | Ahhhh! Well, you've intrigued me, definately. What did happen on that Astronomy Tower to cause both of these things... I've got to say that it's very 'adult' of the boys to allow Hermione her little secret. Impressive... most impressive.
