| Poor baby! I'd guess that the 'old whore' is Dumbledore (that rhymes!) and he's making Severus dream about whatever he's researching. | I used to look after a guy with similar self-harm behaviour as you have described here. You captured the first instant when it kicks off pretty well - the noise, the moment of uncertainty as to what to do for the best to contain the situation. It did bring back some memories. | Ron, Ron...He sure did himself an disservice as well as he hurted Severus. I don't think the others will have much patience with that type of behavior. He should put his attentiveness to better use.
He is quite perceptive, but he could do with a bit of maturing. :-)

| I think perhaps the "old whore" is Dumbledore. Poor Severus, he was upset already and then Ron had to go and be an idiot and say Dumbledore's name. What an ass (please excuse my language). Perhaps Hermione was using his crush on her to get him to sleep, but if it gets him to calm down and stop hurting himself, I think it's good. Besides, Hermione has feelings for him too. This chapter was very sad. I had tears in my eyes when Severus began to bang his head against the wall because of Ron. The poor man...I'm so glad you've updated! This story is just amazing, and I'm always left wanting more. I hope you update soon! :D Author's Response: Maybe Albus, maybe Voldy, only time will tell! ;) Even if Hermione can't help but enjoy her little plan, she means well.
