I love how I keep wondering if Severus is really crazy or is he just that good of an actor! Hmmm, he seems to enjoy our Hermione's tender attentions! | In previous chapters the whole "whore" thing disturbed me. It still does to a degree but for some reason, this chapter has lessened the disturbance. I still feel Severus is not as crazy as we are all supposed to believe. But then again, maybe I'm wrong. Keep writing! I love this story! Author's Response: I'm glad that you are enjoying it! | It is such an entertaining story that the chapters seem to end to quickly. If I was forced to guess, I would say that Severus is keeping himself mad, forcing himself to stay mad to carry out his mission. Just a guess. I'll have to wait and see. Author's Response: I must keep my big mouth shut! I must not give away major plot points! I must not act like Hagrid with a happt secret! *giggle* You know, the chapters have seemed short to me as well, though they are what I usually aim for. I must be doing something right then! | This is a rather good depiction of the bizarre kinds of ideation some people with genuine mental illness display. It makes perfect sense to them and the voices in their heads, but sounds like nonsense to us. Severus' agitation when his delusional system is challenged is very realistic. You manage to make him a sympathetic character. Nicely done! Author's Response: Thank you so much! You've made me feel like I'm doing all right with Severus. I have been worried about my depiction. I have reasons for why he does everything he does, but I'm no Psych major. I'm doing my best to make it plausible and be as honest as I can with my somewhat limited knowledge. Thanks again! :) | |||
