Severus is quite lucid most of the time, Hermione was stuck by his calm back in the first couple chapters. i imagine Severus as being one of those madmen where other people say "But he seemed so normal..." *giggle* Thanks! :) | |||

Sure, it makes for an exciting story, but when my best friend married a man who I couldn't stand, I gritted my teeth and kept my mouth shut. It was her choice, not mine, and I wasn't willing to lose her friendship over it. But I'm rambling, aren't I? I'll tell you a hint. Severus' potions... Well, damn. I can't really say without spoiling things. It's so bloody tempting to say too much in these responses, and there have been times when I have! | YAY update. :D Oh ho ho, Severus is so *devious* and charmingly disarmingly flirtatious, and it's ridiculously relieving to see him appearing to be in better control of his faculties. I love getting to see Hermione rather lose her cool, too. She is, after all, only human; as her ill-thought out plan regarding the cup showed us, she can make whoppers of mistakes--usually caused by a breakdown between her logic and her emotions...I like seeing the boys being so supportive and perceptive, even if they don't necessarily understand. Makes a nice change from how they're far too often portrayed in S/H stories. Author's Response: I like more mature Harrys and Rons myself. Oh, I enjoy the different portrayals that you get in different fics, but some folks write tham like complete clods, and I just don't see them that way. I like seeing Hermione make a mistake now and again as well. I think she's bloody brilliant, but even smart people have faulty reasoning from time to time. Severus is being awfully calm, isn't he? | Great, great, GREAT! I haven't read any other story like this. I love insane Severus. It's got to be some sort of protection ward or maybe the punishment for breaking a vow or something. I don't think it's an act, right? Oh well, I don't really expect you to answer that. But I can't wait to find out. Keep writing..... | Wow, I'm really into this story. It's so intriguing. I can't wait for the "whore" thing to be revealed. And this type of insanity seems to fit Snape very well.
