| Oh goodie! I love this story and I am so happy to see an update. I am glad to see that the "boys" are acting a bit more level headed. I am sure that the reason Harry doesn't want to show the "cave" is for all the reasons that Harmione stated earlier - guilt and the need to blame someone elce for the evenings events. Like the rest of us out here, we think that there is more too all of this. I know that "you have to mean it" when you do an unforgivable, but even when there is not enough "meaning" behind it the spell still can knock you off your socks. If I recall correctly, Harry tried to cast one on Bella at the end of tOotP and she was hit but not hurt. Could it be that Albus was so far gone that even a spell without enough meaning behind it could have killed him? That is my new speculation at the present (and how I love to speculate!) Great chapter- keep it coming! Author's Response: Such an interesting theory, and I simply can't say a thing about it! But I promise I will eventually explain all. You've hit the nail on the head with Harry. But we'll see more of that as well. I'm glad that you like my boys! I'm trying my best to let them grow up but still be the same people. | Yay!! **claps hands** Story stalking pays off again!!! I get to eat a chocolate bunny and read the update! I love your Hermione depiction! Spot on! “caterwauling like a dying jobberknoll” is such a Hermione thing to say- its perfect! I think I’ll trying using that at some point tomorrow, it just seems like such a fun thing to say! “Stop caterwauling like a dying jobberknoll and just do it!!” I let you know how it’s received…

| So, Hermione is conveniently available. Well, it is Ashwinder. Pity her fate-intended is a few beans short of Every Flavor. Watch out for those fish-flavored beans.
I like the dynamic between the three of them, I'm depending on Hermione to badger Harry into giving over.

| Interesting chapter. I like to see your take on the trio dynamic, especially since they're all a bit older. Tiny bit of concrit here though, because I prefer one good concrit review to five gushy ones. I do think, between Harry and Ron, that Ron would grasp what Hermione's trying to say first. He has more of a strategic mind. Despite the fact that a lot of HG/SS shippers write Ron as being too dumb to remember to breathe (probably because he's the canon partner for Hermione and we're all annoyed!) he's not stupid. He's just not intellectually inclined. Which is why there is one sentence in his realisation speech: "It’s a glaring discrepancy" that bothers me. As soon as I read that I thought "that's Hermione-talk!". It didn't feel like Ron's voice. That being said, I think this was an interesting chapter, and you know I'm always hanging out for more! ~tiddlywinks Author's Response: I can't argue with your opinion of Ron's line; it certainly makes sense. But in my mind, Ron's been around Hermione so much, that perhaps some of her vocal mannerisms have rubbed off. I can't tell you how much I've been influenced by the way my close friends and folks I've dated talked. So, I don't agree with you enough to change it, but I do indeed see your point, and it's a valid one. I'm glad you still enjoyed the chapter, and I sure hope that you continue to enjoy the rest of the story! Thanks! :) | |||

| This is such an amazing story. It's good canon, and reads entirely believable. I'm curious about Snape's wacko Patronus. If not for that I'd assume he was crazy like a fox. | Ah you're having the characters in your story do what JR is going to have to make her characters do...go back and analyze those two memories. Awesome chapter.
