Reviews for The Price of Madness

Great chapter! I really loved Aberforth's scar. XD Great complement to Dumbledore's! Hahah! And good one on Snape and Draco dueling, I hope Voldie doesn't pay attention too close at how long they duel... ;) I did find a few things though: -- In the Tumbly Woodside part, I'm pretty sure 'sculking' should be 'skulking' -- In the part where Lucius Malfoy disappeared -- "No one knows" if he made it out alive? Maybe 'no one knew'? I'm not sure. -- The part where Hagrid left by portkey -- "Hagrid did better with portkeys that Apparation" -- should be 'than' -- Aaand, Bellatrix Cruciatus-ing Hermione -- "every nerve felt as if it they were on fire". I think that's all I found, but I'm not sure how to actually spell disapparate/disaperate/disapperate/*flail*.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'll get those typos fixed. Most of the Potterverse words I've got in my word processing program, so I don't have to remember how to spell them! Thanks!

Author's Response: :D I imagine it annoys him.

From the very beginning, I got sucked into your addictive plot and I must congratulate you on how very creative you are! Your explanation about how and why Snape became mad, as well as the entire goblin soul-splitting magic was really surprising (in a good way!) because it made so much sense within the context of the books. I can tell that you have taken a lot of time thinking this story through and it shows. Your writing is exceptional; your humor, suspense, and characterizations are most enjoyable to read. Please finish this story! :) I eagerly await the next chapter.

Author's Response: You are too kind! Though there are many things of my own in this fic, I wanted to make it as cannon compliant as possible, post HBP anyway. I'm so glad that you are enjoying it!

You've returned!! And the day after my birthday too... I believe this is the best birthday present I have ever received. Welcome back... you have been dearly missed. Beautiful chapter btw :-)

Author's Response: Happy Birthday! And thank you so much. I missed you all too.

Since you are posting new chapters, I have decied to re-read this story. I am soooooo happy that you are finishing it - yipee! This is really up there as one of my all time favorites. The first time I read it, I spent about a month calling everyone a whore (mostly to myself). It have to say, the second time around, it doesn't get old. The whole whore thing is still priceless! I am grinning from ear to ear! Thanks!

Author's Response: I had to re-read a couple times in order to continue it. The whore thing still makes me giggle too. Thanks!

Absolutely wonderful chapter! So tender and yet so very passionate! Now Honor and duty call, but may-hap love will finally conquer all?! I really am more thrilled than I can possibly say that you're writing again!

Author's Response: Hiya NightQueen! I'm thrilled I'm writing again as well. I missed it. Thanks sweetie!

There's just one thing : Hermione misquotes Lovelace's poem. It's "I could not love thee, Dear, so much / Loved I not honour more" Misquotations irritate the hell out of me. It's like strolling along and suddenly stumbling over a big rock in the path.

Author's Response: Yes she does. In my mind, Hermione is quoting what she has heard. Bookworm that she is, I just can't imagine her having read the original. I tried it at first with the original quote, and quite frankly she just didn't want to say it that way. Perhaps I should change that "quoted" to "said."
