| as much as i try to keep canon snape in mind, i keep visualising movie snape in a fit of giggles and it's kinda creepy. This story is very touching. This insanity seems like it's giving him a chance to mend pieces of his past while taking these baby steps to a better future. No matter how mad he is the snark will never leave lol Author's Response: Lol! Too true about his snark! Writing Severus has been hard in this story. It's hard to write him completely off his nut, yet still make him recognizable. I do think that his madness has closed some doors for him, but given him new oppourtunities as well. | You know what, now that I think about it, Severus seems to have some Wernicke's Aphasia. It happens when you have a stroke or some sort of brain damage to language centers of the brain. One possible result is substitution of words. This is unknown to the speaker, so they don't attempt to change their behaviour. Whores. Author's Response: I've never heard of that particular illness. That's really interesting! I can't say much yet, but I promise that Severus' whore fixation will be explained. Thanks! :) | |||

| I figured Snape would save Hermione from herself. Very moving scene, even though I was wincing with sympathy for the poor girl -- ouch!
