| What a great chapter! You have really thought about the details of that last book. You have brought up some aspects of things that I had not thought about. Your perspective on Harry's guilt on feeding Albus the potion and relating that to Snape's expression on the tower has me thinking, I think all of us wish we had more details about that conversation that Hagrid over-heard. It could have been in either direction and holds the key to a the whole thing. It will be fun to explor this aspect of the story here. I have to say, the ability for someone to "walk around" in a memory has me so perplexed. If the person didn't actually see the event, how could it possibly be in the memory? JKR invented a complex magic in the form of a pensive that still has me boggled. Great story, thrilled to have fast updates, keep it coming! Author's Response: You know, not long after I wrote this chapter, i read an essay that pointed out that when Harry forces the potion on Albus, Harry looks angry and disgusted, which is the same expression on Snape's face when he hexes Albus. Clue, or strange coincidence? I guess we won't know until book 5. Lol, that essay had another idea that I have long planned to use in this fic. And I thought I was so clever! You know, it's hard to write Pensieve scenes, because JKR really invented an oddity with that one. You'll have to tell me what you think after the next chapter. Thanks so much! :) | |||

| Yeah, yeah, It’s not your fault, what happened. You promised to do what he asked of you! So when Harry finds out Severus only did what Albus asked him to do, let's see what Harry says then. | It's an interesting premise - I like the idea that Voldemort is actually quite tolerant of madness. That seems to fit - especially given the loopy streak in his own family, Author's Response: I rather imagine he's a bit mad himself. Like draws to like, and all that. Thanks! :) | |||

| It's unlikely Hermione would ever have encountered rabies unless she's travelled to to somewhere like India a lot. There's been no rabies in Britain for about 60 years, and very little in continental Europe either. Author's Response: Actually, Britain is not free of rabies. As in America, I am sure it is an uncommon occurrence. However, there has been trouble with rabies in bats and foxes, so I don’t think it outside the realm of reason to assume that Hermione may have seen a dog who was effected. All it would take is one curious puppy who hadn’t had his shots updated. In poking about, I found out that there was a Scottish man who died of rabies in Nov. of 2002. Now, his was the first such death in Britain in a hundred years, but it did happen. I guess I could have had Hermione see a man with rabies and had that be accurate, but I prefer that she saw a dog. In any event, I appreciate you taking the time to tell me your opinion, but I think I’ll let Hermione’s mad dog viewing stand. Thanks! :) | |||

| Great chapter. I loved how Hermione calmed Harry down, and how Ron has become visibly more mature. I always hate it when Ron shouts at everything in fics! :) Looking forward to more!! | Your chapter described in a nutshell what I have always liked most about Hermione (for all the books )and what I am currently disliking about Harry pretty much since OotP - Hermione is finally getting through Harry's thick skull to actually look at what happened with Dumbledore in HBP - and also to look at what Snape has actually DONE to help Harry, words aside, from the beginning.... You kept the characters in character and also managed to inject the bit of logic needed to get through to those who persist in thinking Snape's actions in HBP were in any way arbitrary and that he *willingly* chose to murder the one person Severus seems to have cared for in the world for any other reason other than the vow he made Albus.
Thanks for a well written and thought out chapter.

| I was so glad to see you had new fic in the works! I devoured the chapters as soon as I saw your name attatched to them. Really great so far and I am waiting on the edge of my seat to read more.
