| Oh!! This was just magnificent!!! Severus to the rescue!! Oh, and those wonderful, fabulous kisses!! DELICIOUS!! WOW!! What a reaction Hermione's decision brought out in Severus!!! That was absolutely beautiful! A true work of art.
“How am I to manage without you, little whore?” he asked, his voice breaking. The anger in his eyes fled and his expression was full of both sorrow and fear. “I am mad, little whore. The last of my sanity hangs by a gossamer thread. If you throw your life away like the foolish Gryffindor you are, how shall I stop that last strand from breaking? What shall I do without you to help me remember myself?”
Oh, how this little scene sent warm, wonderful little shivers up and down my spine!! In a short time the both of them have grown close not only physically but emotionally!! I am really loving this fic! Chapter 15 can't come soon enough for me!! Outstanding as always!!!

| Happy Birthday, Pook! What a lovely birthday gift you have given US for YOUR birthday! I am torn between wishing to savour this story and wishing to swallow it whole. Of course, I have no choice -- I'll have to savour it, because I am reading it as you post it. But it is *so* difficult to wait. His violent shaking followed by sweet, tender kisses made me a little breathless. And the gentle administration of the healing potions (Can't blame a bloke for trying) was delightful. The way he gleefully delivered Hermione to the Whore-Who-Lived and the Red-Headed Whore for the reading of the riot act was wonderful. Bless you, young 'un! | Loved it! One moment I laugh out loud at something cheeky or crude Snape says, only to be depressed the next moment when he reflects on his madness. It's always heart breaking to see him being lucid and then retreat into madness and "childishness" again. Author's Response: Well said! he certainly has his more lucid times, especially now that he's in a safe place, with kind people, but he's still mad as a hatter! Thanks, love! :) | |||
