| Very good as usual - I await updates eagerly. Three minor Britpicks here - Hermione would call it a dressing-table, not a vanity; if there's a bath or shower in the room she would call it a bathroom, not a lav (it's only a lav if there's *only* a lav and a sink in it); and although spring in Scotland is very variable, at its warmest it can be blazingly hot. Author's Response: I make no bones about the fact that my fics are not Brit picked. The most I try to do is give them a slight British flavor. My biggest problems with trying to make something completely Brit-friendly, is that if I ask a dozen British folks a question, I’ll get a dozen different answers. The whole reason the “too chilly for swimming” comment is in there is because a British person once told me that “no sane person would take a plunge in a Scottish Loc in the spring.” So there you go. My use of “lav” has come about in much the same fashion. I’ve heard British folks say that bathrooms have tubs and showers but no toilet, so that if you say “bathroom” you are talking about a room without a toilet. I’ve heard so many differing opinions on this subject, that I decided to stick to lav and stop worrying over it. But I thank you for all of your suggestions and I will think it over. Thanks! :) | |||

| Isn't it sad to see what insanity can do to a man? ;-) I'm sure a sane Snape would be outraged if Hermione had watched him while he took a shower. Of course, this Snape wanted to show off and enjoyed it. Not such an uncomfortable shower after all, I think. And thanks for the quote by Billy Joel. That must be the first time that I see him mentioned in any fanfic. Great! Author's Response: I'm a big Billy Joel fan. I couldn't resist finding a place for that quote! I think you're right. Snape in his right mind would at least appear to be outraged. That's why writing mad Severus is so fun! Thanks! :) | |||

| Oh that was fabulous! And her comments about being an honest caretaker and making sure he showered no matter how uncomfortable it was for her, I nearly ended up with hiccups myself. What a sacrifice on her part! LOL This was such a great chapter and I really look forward to seeing more!

lets hope the rain keeps falling and you keep writing! cant wait till the next chapter, at least theres no cliffy as such here :D

| TeeHee! This is such a good story, I am really enjoying, but bummed that I now have to wait along with everyone else for the next part, spoiled that I am, I wanted to read it all! LOL!
I am so looking forward to whenever things pick up for Severus and Hermione. Really looking forward to it!
I really hope that Draco is able to stay safe, and that no serious harm comes to him!
I hope you update soon! This is so good. I am so glad that everyhting is going smoothly in the house as well, and that nothing too extreme has happened yet, although I am nervous about what could happen later, I am looking forward to more, more, MORE! LOL!

| There's just something about new updates that improve my day oh-so-much. I loved the last chapter by the way: I thought Ron did a bang-up job in handling Snape. Both my parents used to be psych nurses and an annoyance of fear/bad interaction with the mentally ill is kind of ingrained in my family. I can see Ron being a sensitive enough guy to interact well, so good job you. i am slightly vexed though by Kreacher's use of the word "whore". Not for any horrible reason! Only as soon as Kreacher showed up I thought to myself "I should review with a suggestion that he should pick up the word 'whore'", only you beat me to the punch! So close! But I guess great minds think alike. ~Tiddlywinks Author's Response: HA! I love that you thought of Kreacher using 'whore' as well! To funny! I think that both Ron and Harry are doing quite well, but be warned, they will still have their prat moments! ;) Thanks, hon! :) | |||
