| I absolutely *love* this opening scene with Snape. So delicious to imagine being "held down on [the] bed by a madman with a hard on" - provided the madman is Snape, of course! I've been following this fic with eager interest since you started it, but especially loved this scene and the one in the next chapter with Draco. Everyone is properly in character, and there's just the right amount of humor to balance out the tone. I love the imaginative twists and turns - please update as soon as you can! Thank you!!!!! | I am *such* a sick pup -- why does it please me so much that Severus is writing his notes in Gobbledegook? And I adore the fact that Dumbledore will only talk about butterflies when asked about That Night on the Astronomy Tower. Save me from myself -- I need more --

| Then again, they say that Luna Lovegood is an extremely patient person. Perhaps she really _likes_ butterflies, and wouldn't mind taking notes, till Albus runs out of species. Besides, I bet she'd like to get his opinion on whether Scrimgeour is really a vampire or not. If Dumbledore wants to play this game, I nominate Lovegood to play right back at him.
Or perhaps he's spelled his portrait not to say anything till Moldymort is really dead. In which case, Lovegood could always transcribe her notes into a book about butterlies to help support the Quibbler.
Although if Albus waits too long, Snape will be dead. Author's Response: Ha! I love the idea of Luna sitting in front of Albus, listening to endless diatribes on the butterfly species of the world! I think it's a herculean task. Do you know how many species of butterflies there are in the world? | *sighs* Now you’ve gone an done it. I’m addicted. I will have to add this to my favorites and check everyday (story-stalking!) ;) It has been a bit since I have latched on to a WIP with fervor, and I’ve never found one with the ADDED bonus of searching for “errors”, in the hopes that I will be pursued by an 'mad Severus'. I have to say though, your story is fantastically written, (accolades to you and your beta!), so much so that I doubt I would even notice if there was a missed “possessive”, and so I’m a bit sad. Do you think you could manage to skip a comma somewhere? That insane Snape… and me… the possibility is intriguing!

| So Severus really is insane...is he doing something important? Or does he just think he is? I feel rather bad for Severus - killing a person (the one person??) he loved drove him nuts. I wonder if he can become sane again? When will Hermione meet up with him again? Ooh, please update soon. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
