| I really like your take on the argument in the forest. And this insane Snape... I can't stop wondering what he's wearing. Surely not DE robes outside 12GP. Probably not a chartreuse leisure suit, but not full professor regalia either. What then? Just curious. Breathlessly waiting for more. ~casey Author's Response: I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter. As far as Snapes clothes go, there will be slightly more description next chapter, but I don't go into great detail. In my head, he's wearing standard wizarding robes, probably black. | The plot is moving along exactly as I hoped. Now I want to know why Snape keeps calling them whores! I keep thinking about the Bene Gesserit in the Dune series calling the Honored Matres whores...any relationship? As always, I love your work. Pooka, you rock! Author's Response: Hmm...I'll have to ask my brian about the Dune thing, I don't know it well enough to remember that bit. Sounds intriguing! | Nice job on Hagrid's dialect. I have read so many bad jobs on it, I am always so pleased when someone does well. Now what is the fixation with whores? And good heavens, what's going to happen now that Harry and Ron are on the spot? You have me on tenterhooks. (Vaughn continues to reign supreme.) Author's Response: Thanks, Jen! I really adore Hagrid, and I hate when fics make him sound like an idiot. It meant a great deal to me to get his voice right, and Vaughn has a real knack for it. *giggle* I'm afraid it will be a while before there are any 'whore' explanations, but we should have some fun in the meantime! | What a wonderful update! I so love this story. Your image of the "discussion" in the forest went pretty much as I have pictured it to have gone. I think there is a devious reason JKR didn't give us all the discussion and it was discolsed at such a time as to imply guilt on Snapes part. JKR packed so much into the ending of that last book that I can't help but think she did a lot of misleading to set Snape up as a true bad guy. I think she wants us all to think he is a bad guy so she can do some interesting twists at the end (she logically left no doubt if your a "black and white" believer in right and wrong and I don't think she ever makes that case in any of her other books so why now?) Love this story and I look forward to more chapters soon. Author's Response: I agree. There's a lot that's fishy about book 6, i think that JKR is a sneaky woman! Lol! Thank you so much! :) | |||
