| Firstly - yay for the update! Next....hmhmhmhm... This is just a personal thing, but I don't like things that are written using the different, American version of the tower scene... it just seems -wrong-. And why would Severus have been killed by the backlash? I don't quite get that whole scene. As for the rest of the chapter, and the story in general, I love it! Author's Response: I like the American version of the tower scene. I find it so much more intriguing! And since those are the books I read, they are the ones I write from as well. Lol, it may be the American version, but it's still canon! What Harry and Hermione were saying was that had that spell been a Killing Curse, and it rebounded on him (like the spell did on Voldy when he tried to kill baby Harry) then Snape would be dead. He's not dead, so it wasn't an AK. Sorry that didn't seem clear enough, and thanks for the review! :) | |||

| Great to see this on the go again.
It doesn't actually follow that if Albus was alive Snape would be dead, because we don't know what the Vow interprets as failure on Draco's part. It's clearly not the case that if Draco makes an attempt on Albus's life and fails, Snape must immediately kill him or die - otherwise it would have kicked in as soon as Draco tried and failed with the cursed necklace. | |||

| Yay, back from vacation and here's an update! So did Hermione see the American or British version of that scene in the Pensive? Is PlaidPooka to be found on 'dumbledoreisnotdead.com' I saw Jo at Radio City last week, and she assured us he is. For a good story though, I'll wallow in delusion :o) Looks like an intriguing take on the tower scene. Plumps down to wait for the next update. Author's Response: I think that poor Albus has to be dead, or Severus would be. *sigh* But I can't help wishing for a few miracles in book seven. Thanks, love! :) | |||
