| Unfair! Unfair! You start with a cliffhanger on just the first chapter!! (Oh yeah, welcome back, Pook!) Well, I'm hoping he's not really a madman, and that he plans on the Death Eaters being gone before Harry arrives. Erm.... unless "the boy" is Draco? BTW, nice blending of HBP with this chapter, and I always suspected Harry would refuse to show anyone what really happened in the cave (Harry poisoning Albus) and on the Tower (Albus offering to hide Draco and his parents, etc.). Idjit Harry. Now please relieve our suffering and post the next chapter!!! Author's Response: *snicker* I'm a right stinker, aren't I? I couldn't help it, I tell you! I've always thought my first chapters were a bit rough around the edges, so I really tried to make this one more interesting. I feel the same way about Harry and the cave. Harry tends to act out when he feels guilty about something. As for the rest, I'm afraid that you'll have to wait for chapter 2, which should be updated before too long. Thanks, love! | I'm so glad to see you back on Ashwinder, Pooka! I really liked "Unlikely Bedfellows", but I missed your Hermione/Severus stories! This first chapter is compelling - I can't wait to see where you go with this. Update soon, please. Your A/N lead me to believe, you've already been writing this story for a little while. Dare I hope that chapter 2 is already in the works? Author's Response: I'm glad to see me back as well! And thanks for braving Unlikely bedfellows, I had such fun with that fic. The first draft of chapter 2 is done and I'm starting on chapter 3, so if I keep going at this rate, we should have pretty regular updates.
