| O great and noble Plaidpooka and Vaughn, your latest chapter is an inspiration, both in content and mechanics! [So, if Voldemort is the Dark Whore, does that make Harry the Whore-inator? (My daughter Libby was a strong-willed toddler, and we called her the Lib-inator. | Awww! He's afraid to sleep. And he doesn't look people in the eye because of legilimency. But if he only shows one memory.. what harm could happen? Crabbe needs to have a cigarette shoved up his... er, never mind. He seems really sweet except for the whole 'whore' thing. If you ignore that word, he keeps calling Hermione 'pretty'. Maybe if he stays at Grimmauld place, he'll get more than a few hours of sleep under his belt. Author's Response: Too true. you have to pay more attention to how Mad Snape talks than to what he says. | "Otherwise, the three friends may have found out something that was either a great clue or a very strange coincidence." AAARGH! Now why is it that I can imagine the author whistling a little tune while turning away to investigate a suddenly very interesting crack in the ceiling? All complaints aside, I love this fic. Poor, sweet, mad Severus. I love him as much as I'm looking forward to his transformation - wishful thinking there! Now if only we could have the appearance of a certain swill-loving, hanky-stealing Jarvey; a creature that deserves a few more of his own fics. I'm certain he would be delighted by Mad Severus' whore-shouting. Author's Response: Oh, you are so right! Turpin would love this! "Fuck the whores!" Turpin shouted gleefully. *giggle* I miss that little bugger. He was the most fun to write, but I'm having almost as much fun with Mad Severus. Hmm...would you look at the crack in that ceiling? | Wow....totally amazing chapter! :) And the part with Herm tucking Sev in was so incredibly sweet and intimate in a veiled sort of way. Those are very enjoyable, and also very scarce...so thanks for having that bit in there. Hope you can update soon! (That means you have to NOW! Haha, just kidding, but I also mean it as well...) There won't be any full-out lemons for a long time in this fic, so I'm going for a slow, more believable build. Hopefully I will update before too long. Poor Severus -- held down and burned with cigarettes? How horrid! Is he powerless? That seems so unlike him! Oh, Pook, something is really very wrong with him and you keep on racheting up the suspense. You are truly good at this. I am proud of Harry and Draco for acting like grown ups, which is more than Sirius and Severus could ever do. I can definitely see that happening in canon. We will look forward to Chapter 9 and offer bribes to the Muse for Chapter 10 -- does she prefer chocolate or cigarettes? Author's Response: I'm afraid that, like me, my muse is addicted to both chocolate and cigarettes. So either offering would be well recieved. *giggle* Chocolate flavored cigarettes, perhaps? My poor mad Severus is a bit helpless, I'm afraid. But never fear, we'll take excellent care of him from here on in. I'm a big fan of redeemed Draco fics. I know the boy's a prat, but I feel so sorry for him! I'm hoping that JKR doesn't throw him to the wolves. I am amazed by the number of reviews so far. Not that I'm complaining, mind you, I'm a review slut! Oh, I suppose I should be saying review whore with this fic! ;) So many reviews, and no smut yet! It's fantabulous! Thanks, doll! :) | |||

| Fabulous as always my dear!! I do so wonder which memory Severus replays over and over again if someone tries Legilimency on him. "I’m deranged; I’m not stupid!” LOL You really do have a talent for making me laugh!! That comment alone makes me very suspect of Severus' so called craziness!! | I am loving this story. I am going to take a stab at what Malfoy would have said about the memory in Severus's mind. (And, mind you, I should go back and reread your earlier chapters to confirm my recollection, but it is late, and I am lazy.) I am going to guess that Severus memory is the same thing that Albus's portrait talks about, butterflies. Maybe I am wrong, but Albus's butterfly thing sounded like a clue.
