Reviews for The Price of Madness

Absolutely lovely darling! I can't wait for the shower scene (giggle, giggle, snarf, giggle... "Perhaps when my research is done, I’ll make you a list of the whores in the entire world who do care about my wand,” giggle). ^_^

Author's Response: I couldn't resist that line, and it's still making me giggle. Glad it made you giggle as well! Thanks! :)

Oh, poor guy!! I'm so glad she won't let the whores in the shower with him. Most men would like that scenario, but I can see why he might not want the experience. ;D I love how Harry and Ron are being so compassionate instead of taking the opportunity to take revenge on his bad behavior during their school days. It makes them more heroic to me, instead of being villainously vindictive. Very nice story. Thanks for the Mother's day update. Nice little present for us.

Author's Response: You're welcome for the mama's day update! And you've made me laugh with the shower-whores comment! ;D You've hit the nail on the head, I think that Ron and Harry may have their idiot moments, but they are both Gryffindor heroes at heart, and I'm trying to give them some chance to show that. After all, they aren't little 13 year olds anymore. Thanks! :)

What a roller coaster. At one moment I was tempted to say "cute", which is a bit odd since we're talking about Snape, and the next moment I felt so sorry for him. I take it that it's a bad sign that Hermione starts to talk about whores as well, isn't it?

Author's Response: Lol, poor Hermione! She does have a lot to try to deal with; it's little wonder she's using Snape's 'whores!' Now that is quite a challenge for HP fanfic writers, to get someone to think "cute" about Snape! :D Thanks! :)

I laughed so hard during this chapter. The image of Severus running through Grimmauld with his hands waving in the air and screaming leave me be - I shall never forget it. And the people around me will never forget me laughing at my computer screen like an insane idiot. And then Severus hid behind the couch with his feet and arse in plain view - and again I laughed (quite loudly) and again there was the looks from the people around me. The chapter was hilarious, and I want to re-read it again. I got teary-eyed when Severus told Hermione why he hated showers, but I felt better when Severus offered to make a list of people that care about his "wand". The chapter was definitely worth the looks I've gotten. I'm a little sad though - you told us on WIKTT you wouldn't be updating again. What a place to leave off on! I think I might just melt into a puddle on the floor from the longing of an update. Still, this chapter was wonderul (pretend "wonderful" was in caps lock - I'm feeling a bit lazy and don't want to hit the button). I can't wait for the next chapter! :)

Author's Response: I had such fun writing this chapter, and I'm so glad that you enjoyed it! There's any number of reason's to be sad for mad Severus, but I simply can't turn this into an angst fest *shudder* So while I will not ignore the serious bits, I hope that I always find some humor to balance it out. I'm just thrilled that I made you get odd looks from those around you! That's as much fun as getting a spit take! :D Thanks so much for your lovely comments and your continued support. I have gotten quite a lot of work done on the next chapter, so hopefully it won't be too long a wait! thanks! :)

Aw, poor Severus! Whoring good chapter. And I'm such a whore fan that I would peek because I care about what kind of wand he has. I could even give a list of all those who do... WIKTT, TPMM, Potter_Place... :-D Great chapter, Pook, and it's going to be raining all week, y'know.
~Lisa

Author's Response: I know! I'm so sick of this rain I could hide behind the sofa like Severus! At least we had a pretty weekend for Derby. And could that horse run! Maybe we'll finally get a Triple Crown winner out of this one! Oh, yes, this is a review page, isn't it? *giggle* You can add my name to that list! I want a peek! Thanks, sweetie! :)

This chapter is amusing. I just can't imagine SS giggling. He is causing minor mayhem, it's adorable.

Author's Response: Thanks Droxy! He is causing quite a stir, isn't he? I believe he will continue to do so! ;) Thanks! :)

Wow! Poor Severus and Hermione is taking such good care of him. Keep up the great work.

Author's Response: Hermione is a kind young woman. She said she'd look after him, and she will, no matter how odd he behaves! Thanks so much! :)

So...if and when Severus is returned to his normal, reasonably sane self, how on earth will he ever again be able to command respect from Hermione? She has seen him on his hands and knees, cowering behind a sofa with his bum sticking out! I find crazy Snape to be highly entertaining, but some small part of me is wincing at how infantile his insanity has made him. Additionally, I am afraid that the shower scene next chapter might be similar to Jenny sneaking into Forrest's room in Forrest Gump. Not that Hermione would take advantage of Snape when his "wand" is exposed, but he clearly likes her, so I won't put it past him to put the moves on her. Am still trying in vain to figure out what (if any) significance there is to Snape's calling everyone whores.

Author's Response: Firstly, there is deffinitely a significance to the whole 'whore' thing, but we won't get to an explanation anytime soon. I can promise you that, while Hermione is a red blooded woman, she would never take advantage of a person who is not themselves, not in my opinion. A peek, maybe. Advantage, deffinitely not! I also don't think that Hermione would blame a person for the undignified things that they do when not themselves. Will she ever see him as completely his former self? No, of course not. But that does not mean she will lose all respect for him. Thanks! :)
