| Hmm. He's becoming more and more like himself, even though he's still very erratic - and he knows he still has some sanity even if it's fragile... I'd say if nothing else happens to de-stabilize him, he'll gradually get beter over a period of several months. Author's Response: I'd say that both Hermione and being in a "safe" enviornment deffinitely helps him keep his cool. | Happy birthday! My 40th was last weekend - I hope you have a great time. I'm only just caught up on this story and it was only the last one, I think, where it seemed Sev really was mad. Believe it or not for a long time I wasn't sure if he was bunging it on for some nefarious reason - there was, is perhaps, something not quite right about it. We will see, I suppose. Anyway, great chapter. The moment with Herms was very touching, a nice bit of vulnerability from him. And a nice kiss. He's still very Slytherin, for all his madness. Author's Response: Too right! | Happy Birthday! Everytime I visited Ashwinder, I'd stare at the title of your story in the Recently Updated area, wishing that it would be "Recently Updated" again. I have to say, I loved how Severus and Hermione kissed, but what really made this chapter wonderful was the lack of a cliffy. The last chapter nearly killed me, I wanted to know what happens next immediately! I want to know what happens next now, but I'm better able to handle my impatience. I loved how Severus called Harry the Whore Who Lived. So he needs Hermione to keep hold of his last thread of sanity, does he? I admit I was a bit teary-eyed reading that. He really needs Hermione...As for Hermione taking advantage of an ill man, I don't think Severus is complaining. Or ever will complain. I laughed out loud when Severus commanded Hermione to take her shirt off. I had to laugh again when Severus attempted to get her out of her bra, and then muttered how you couldn't blame a bloke for trying. Seeing as it's just four after midnight here, laughing loudly might not be a good idea. As always, an awesome chapter. It was wonderful. I belive I'm going to re-read this story at some point. Please, update again soon! Maybe not this weekend...but hopefully soon! Author's Response: Lol! | I am enjoying this story SO MUCH. Every chapter makes me smile. I love the mad Severus...so much less, uh, uptight? He just has different, more fascinating, idiosyncrasies. Bless his heart, he is very fond of Hermione, isn't he?
