| 03-11-2006 06:04 Woo hoo! I've been watching FOREVER for the this chapter! Hurray, Plaidie! That Severus really cracks me up. So casual. Covered in soot, and no, nothing's wrong at all. That would be really creepy waking up to find him staring. Has she ever asked him why he does that? And I loved Bill at the bank, long lanky Weasley crammed into spaces meant to be cubbies for little people. Can't wait to hear his explanations. Bravas to the betas--and write faster, can't you, Plaidie? I'm perishing for something to read (Just kidding. Well, no I'm not really, but I'm done nagging you as well.) Author's Response: I'm writing up a small storm these days. The next chapter is already at the betas, and I'm halfway through the chapter after that! This chapter was worth the wait - I bust a gut every time Severus calls Hermione "Trollop"! Also very glad to see him getting some quality snogging in - I'd love to see more of that - I don't know how Hermione resists him, although it must be a bit strange to wake up and find him in her bedroom, I wonder what that's about? Looking eagerly forward to the next installment! (BTW, I think the expression goes, "you've got another think coming", not "thing".) Author's Response: Actually, both “you’ve got another thing coming” and “you’ve got another think coming” are equally valid expressions. In my life, I’ve heard “thing” far more often than “think” so I went with that one. I have no idea what they say across the pond, but I don’t try to make my fics completely Brit compliant. As far as the expression goes: In 1982, Judas Priest sings the song, “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming”, on his “Screaming for Vengeance” album. In 1983, Bill Cosby uses “You’ve got another thing coming” on his album “Himself.” Lol, the 80’s were definitely my formative years. Yes, you can find uses of “You’ve got another think coming” as well. My point is that both expressions are in common usage, neither is incorrect. | 03-11-2006 04:11 Yay, an update! *Does the wiggle of joy* Do we eventually find out why Severus stares at Hermione while she's asleep? I hope we find out. As for the Gringott's vault thing, the only thing I can think of is what was on that scroll has something to do with the way the Goblins protect their vaults. But then what does that have to do with Severus? Will they keep Severus occupied when Bill comes over, or will they make him swear not to tell anybody and let him know. Bill seems trustworthy enough. Anyway, I'm extremely glad you've updated, and I hope you do so again soon! Great job :) Author's Response: I think Severus' staring is one mystery I can let out of the bag.
