| Of course, it probably takes a fairly scary potion to disarm a Horcrux...? Lovely chapter. I'm really enjoying Severus's teasing of Hermione, and Ron and Harry's support are almost equally nice. I was particularly taken by your description of the childish ways he protects his notes--hunching over them and curling his arm around them or holding them above his head. Somehow I get the idea that mad!Snape is not that different from Severus Snape, age 6 or so. And beautifully written all through, as always. Author's Response: That was exactly what I was thinking of when I wrote him writing like that. I was thinking of his childhood habits showing through! | Haha, Snape is a sneaky creature. You know, as I was reading the first part of this chapter, I thought that Hermione would have no trouble with getting the soul out of the cup if she'd just get Pumblechook -- and then realized I was on the wrong story entirely. =] Keep up the great work. Author's Response: ROFL! You aren't the only one wishing that Hermione could just use Pumbles!
