| I truly understand Hermione's reaction to Severus's reaction. However, I can't help but feel she, Harry and Hooch helped his reactions along, by the way they all three played with him and his feelings. And I think it's wrong for Hermione to apply the potion he is creating for animals to humans as well. He never said that. She needs time to deal with the fact that she's pregnant, but she has to give Severus the same time to do the same. Author's Response: Yep, she is mistaken and not thinking clearly, as he told her that he wanted the child to live. They'll each have a bit of time to deal with things coming up soon. :) | |||

| If you wanted to paint a picture of an abusive relationship you're doing a very good job. He treats her as less than nothing. He abuses her racially, threatens her physically and continues to treat her with no respect.
And after that you think there should be a a relationship?
Love isn't a matter of acting sufficiently like a doormat until the man in your life decides that your worth being with, and Hermione isn't that type of girl. Author's Response: Yes, he does treat her less than nothing, and the sad thing is that he warned her that was how it would be up front. She accepted. Don't worry, doll. He'll ease up eventually. And, yes, I do believe there should be a relationship since she loves him, since I know he loves her though he's not admitted it (issues to work through first), and since they will have a child together. I think they need a bit of a break first. :) As far as Hermione not being that type of girl, hell, neither am I, I'm as mean and blunt as they come when I wanna be, yet I've been in this rut before. She's had enough though as you could see more of her coming out in the last chapter. I have the next one outlined already. I think she really surprises him. :) cheers! | |||

| Wow. Well, I really didn't expect him to be happy about the prospect of having a child, but what a bastard! Personally? I would have hexed him ten times over by now. | Wow powerful chapter my dear. He started off speaking to her so sweetly in the begining of this, then BAM Snape was back. sigh I feel so awful for her. Being preggie for the first time should be a happy experience, not full of such fear from her man. Gods how I wish he had a volume control on that voice in his head.

| Great chapter! You've really got me pissed off at Hermione...I hope the real Hermione comes back soon:) I don't mind so much how Severus is...in fact I like him like this.
