| I think an epilogue would be great-I love the ones that are like 10 or 20 years in the future and the trios kids go to hogwarts together! | witch...this was a perfect place to end it..because you never delved into the mum's family you can leave the fic where it lays...i loved it...and epilogue would be nice though, just to see sev's reaction to the birth of his child...i loved the way you ended this story...you kept sev at his snarky best while giving him a loving side...he just does not know how to deal with it...keep up the good work...A MASTERPIECE AS USUAL...
PS...now onto LURING THE ENCHANTRESS....(EVIL GRIN)...
Author's Response: I like it at this point as well. when i started the chapter, i never imagined that it would end by the time I finished it, but when I wrote the last bit, I knew it was over. An epilogue would work, few years down the road. Glad you enjoyed it!! on to other things... muahahaha | |||

| Wow! What an awesome chapter! Now, where to start. The ending does seem to fit (although I would love this story to be as long as you care to make it, you know its my favorite! ;-) ) An epilogue for sure though! tee hee
I love the slip when he was angry. Where he admitted he is in love with her. You know it was the truth because he didn't even realize what he said. And, I loved the ending where he deliberately told her. I know he didn't say "I love you," but he told her none the less. And I love that she accepted that and how much more he loved her because of it. As for Harry, well they are best friends. If my best friend's husband or boyfriend treated her the way Severus did Hermione at the beginning, I would be upset too. He loves her and wants her happy, and like he said, he remembers when she was miserable. So, I don't blame him for wanting her to be happy. As for his father?? EEEWWW! LOL. Poor bloke was truely insane at the end. He sure had his demons, I'll say! Thank you Sunshine for another brilliant story! I loved this one and I look forward to Luring the Enchantress and everything else you decide to do! Can't wait for your spring faire story! | I agree...this would be a good place to stop. Perhaps, if you wish, a sequel or epilogue sometime down the road.
It's nice to know there are authors in the great fanfic universe (should that be capitalized?!) who know when to stop!

| I'm really sorry but I just can't make myself believe that Hermione is this stupid. You've sold her down the river for a man without any guarantee of anything- the girl who worked out that the creature was a basilisk, the girl who gave up divination is not the girl you're writing here and that's your perogative but I can't suspend belief this much. Author's Response: To each his own, mate. I don't see why you've waited twelve chapters to comment on that though. What are you still doing reading if you can't stand the way I've depicted Hermione? On another note, love is blind at times even for 'real' people. I could see her loving someone and wanting to be with them (dedication to do what it takes). I no longer think of the Hermione of second year that figured out the Basilisk mystery or the third year that gave up Divination. I'm thinking of the girl that blindly respects Professor Snape, defends House-Elves, lures a woman to the Forbidden Forest to her possible death to get her off her and her mates' backs, and the girl that put a pretty mean hex on a parchment to be sure they'd be punished for blabbing about the D.A. Why wouldn't Hermione start out feeling sorry for Snape in the same way, thinking he was a creature of servitude to the Dark Lord and even Dumbledore. Misplaced feelings that turn into obsession that turn into love are not uncommon in the real world. You forget, this is not a kid that I am writing. This is an Adult!Hermione. I explained her feelings a couple of chapters ago. If that didn't clear things up for you, nothing will. The best thing I could suggest is that you not read any longer. She will not leave Snape.
