| I stopped reading your story right after skimming this chapter. I like the original plot idea, but I really can't get myself to read about a relationship like this. Snape abuses HErmione, and instead of fighting back and breaking up, she willingly suffers to prove her love for him.
It is very wron to believe that love alone will turn an abusive man to a caring man. That's not the way things work out in the real world, and I prefer my stories to be realistic instead of radiating oldfashioned "love conquers all and if your husband is abusive, you just dont love him enough" viewpoints.
Author's Response: old fashioned? ahahaha... i'm only 29 and i've been in one of these raggedy relationships. Some men think they can get away with anything, and their women hope they will change. Sometimes the relationship works, and sometimes it doesn't. I think maybe you don't like the story because it is far too realistic as per a good portion of the jerks they have about today. No worries though. I think Hermione stood her ground well this chapter, and I know what she's up to next chapter. It's a slow ride that will lead to a satisfactory place. Cheers! | Loved it, Loved it, Loved it! Oh yeah, did I mention I Loved It!??! Very well done. Just love Snape's character in this story. I really am not fond of him ever becoming too nice or sappy. | Wow, I’d like to say, I didn’t see that coming but... So, he’s back himself again:-). I enjoyed his reaction to Rolanda’s and Harry’s little encounter, he’s not dealing with jealousy very well, is he? This chapter left me guessing and I do have very livid fantasy…
Since Severus is so insecure his relationships with Hermione and with women for that matter, why he presumes she wants to trick him into marriage??? I don’t see line of women whose want to marry him:-). He’s really piece of work, he’s hate to share but the same time wants to keep her.
I guess it’s time for Hermione to stand up for herself, and get on with her life. To show him, she can do well without him and be great mother, I’m sure Harry will also be there for her and her baby. I think that might be the key which will make Severus to fight for his woman.
By the way, great chapter again!
Author's Response: yes, Hermione will turn away from him, and that alone will make him think things over. Then, to think that another man will have what is 'his'. well, he won't have it. | Wow! You gave us a twist that I certainly didn't expect, although it didn't completely surprise me...I can't wait to see what happens next. Hermione needs to be a bit more emotional with the news, though...It's quite the emotional rollercoaster to find out you will be a single mother...(Been there/Done that...)Update again soon. I really like this story. Author's Response: it will hit her in the next chapter even more so. she's going to realize what it means to be alone with a baby, and she'll get a bit desperate as far as something she will try, thinking severus doesnt want her. :) more up soon. | |||
