| Wonderful, Sun! Wow, I say. Just...wow. Very moving. Very powerful. The memories in the penseive were extremely sad. I only hope Severus is able to learn from his father's mistakes and not repeat them. The tenderness in the bathtub scene was lovely too. I only hope Hermione continues to be patient with him. Too right. Pressuring him would be a disaster. Good luck with the Spring Faire piece! I'm anxious to see them all. | I sat here totally engrossed in this chapter, and my appreciation of this story soared even higher. I had been worried for a while when Hermione turned out to be almost stalker-like in the way she manipulated everyone in her pursuit of Severus, then went all weak and needy on us (then again this opened my eyes to the fact that this is very similar to the way she originally behaves in canon, hanging around the boys until a near disaster actually forces them together). I felt in some ways she deserved the way Snape used her. Now they seem to be working towards a real relationship. Excellent writing. After reading your A/N I went back and reread the Snape/Pensieve scenes while playing “Ohne Dich” , and it really sent shivers down my spine, especially the scene where they interred Ella. Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad that you like the story. I can see exactly what you mean about Hermione, and to be honest, I felt that way a little as well. Things will be getting better for them now. Slowly but surely. I'm still listening to that Rammstein song. I really think it went. Odd huh? | |||

| This was another great chapter. Wonderful. I think that Severus will find it hard not to fall back into the man that he has been for so long. But as he has vowed to treat his wife with great care to ensure the life of his child and with the added information from his father and what I am sure that he will learn from his mother, I think that he will learn to accept his love for Hermione. I liked the way that you ended this chapter as it does seem likely that he would show her is love for her more often than saying it. But it will only make those times when he does tell her more poignant and precious to her. --- As for Hermione, Gryffindor's in general are not known for their patience, but she did wait for him for years to become her lover, certainly she is capable of waiting till his is able to give his heart to her willingly. She is the smartest witch in the last hunderd years after all. ----- Again another great job. ---- B Author's Response: Thanks! He is going to try, but there will always be those times where he can't help himself. It's a slow process, but I'm thinking they'll be okay.
