| Whew, it was just a virus, thank God, for a moment there I thought she was going to be WHAT oh no! She is? Bad, Bad Author! You did such a wonderful job with writing Nasty Snape (and I usually adore a nasty Snape) that I don't wan't him to be happy. No Hermione, No baby, No happy. Right now I want him to blow up in a terribly painful potions accident. Hermione can fall in love with someone else. Marrying Dobby would be better. Oh, but then you'd have to change the rating to include squick. Please post soon, I promise I'll try to calm down. | ahhh scary......i would like to see hermione figure out some of snape's childhood through pensieve as it seems very harsh and of course snape catching her and ya you get the point..... just a suggestion....... anyways i cant wait for the next chapter!! ^__^ Author's Response: lol.. good idea. Severus is a bastard and I hope he stops being one. Well, in saying that, I hope he stops being a hateful mean bastard instead of just a bastard like he always is. Haha.

| A very packed and emotional chapter, as usual. I'm definitely glad that Hermione isn't as passive anymore. My only problem with this chapter is that moods seem to change too quickly. Hermione's rapid change from anger to fear is believable, but then she suddenly seems so small again. That's still believable to me, but when Severus's angry reaction suddenly switches to compassion and tell her he cares, it confused me because it was so huge and rapid a change. I don't know, it might just be me. In any case, since you promised he will never be a sweet Snape, it makes the prospect of future chapters more interesting. Author's Response: Well, I did that for a bit of a reason. It's from her pov, so we can't really see what he is thinking. I would imagine that part of him wants to slap her and part of him is trying to get away so as not to hurt her. He does care. He's been admitting that for about 2 chapters now. he just never told her the words. however, he is off to his rooms to destroy a few things. that will be up next. As for Hermione's mix, well, she's very confused, harmones kicking in. Indignation, anger, fear, disappointment, sadness, loneliness.... i will go into that a bit more. she's not thinking all that straight. don't worry. that little emotion from snape. that's a big thing for him to show. we'll see what it costs him in the next bit. | you're absolutely right on holding him in canon. He's best that way. This little chappie was supurb....it was certaily worth the waiting !
