| I enjoyed the first two chapters tremendously. Their wit made me gasp and wonder how it could be possible to go on in that pace for 13 more. And after that ... it caused me almost physical pain to keep on reading. That alone should be prove enough, that I consider it brilliantly written and that the central theme appeals to me. But reading about your SpinelessHermione meant meeting a huge challenge. I couldn't get rid of those pictures of abused wifes, always returning to their husbands, hoping for a change. And I couldn't imagine Snape (even or precisely canon BastardSnape) to esteem such a person (sexually or otherwise). If THAT'S the brightest witch of her age I guess the British Wizarding community is in a lot of trouble. ;) But fact it is very venturous to create her as someone not easy to identify with (read: to hate). Alas, I came back to the story 4 times during the last 24 hours for a little bit more (how ironic - like Hermione to Snape) - in spite of the repetitions their relationship ran through. Seems I'm addicted. Author's Response: I know exactly what you mean! There were parts in there where I hated Snape and even Hermione. My main point was to show how a situation could be. Horribly enough, I was once right where Hermione was, and I'm one of the strongest people I know. I think Love (or what we think to be love) can sometimes make us do things we normally wouldn't. If you continue reading, it does get better, I promise. She comes into her own, and Snape learns to be a "man." teehee.. Cheers and thanks for reading! | |||

| well southern...you did it again...i don't know what to say...you are an incredible story teller...i cannot praise you anymore than i have before except to say complete and utter genious...you are my favorite author....which is also hard for me to say because you have some pretty stiff competition...lol...anyway...like i said another great story...please continue with luring the enchantress now...keep up the good work... Author's Response: Thanks, dear. It wasn't a very long story, yet it feels like it was. LOL... I'm glad you stuck with it, even though some of it was unpleasant. I will continue on with Luring. | I think this was a perfect ending Sun. *sniff* Beautiful. *sniff* I've really enjoyed this tale and I think you gave it a wonderulful send-off. I love that the changes (especially in Severus) were nice and slow and that the relationship moved along slowly as well. I love the name Darach. It's just perfect. He sounds so cute! Can I have him? | Wonderful story, it had everything in it and a happy ending. I love the way you ended it's a perfect place to stop. I know what you mean, I've always felt strange writing something that did not meet with the canon plot. And although writing is difficult after all we know, it's still great reading AU and well, I like it even more now, I guess it's just too hard to think of the way things were left at HBP and it's good to have a place to run to when canon is just too vile on us.
