| I tried to stay away. After all, if I don’t like where a story is going, I should just stop reading. But nooooo, I have to let my curiosity get the better of me. If I weren’t so addicted to Succubus (and Libertine) I could just walk away; therefore I blame you for making the characters and their situation just too darn compelling to leave behind *grin*. I wish I could say everyone was out of character, but really they aren’t, which is where my problem with the story comes in. I like happy endings, I crave them, but it just isn’t realistic to expect Snape to up and fall in love with Hermione after all they’ve been through. Wait, that came out wrong. Snape as you’ve portrayed him, with all his thoughts made clear to the reader, could possibly fall in love with Hermione; the real life guy who acts like Snape will never, ever change, no matter how much the woman involved thinks he will. I’ve seen completely intelligent women (like Hermione) fall into this trap time and again, thinking they can change that sort of man just by putting up with his crap and giving him Total True Love (heavy sarcasm there). It usually seems to happen to twentysomethings, like Hermione in this story. Shoot, looking at the reviews, I see where several other readers (and you) have had this happen to them. So, I can’t fault the characterizations, just the thought that Snape can change and all will be happily ever after. Even though I want the happily ever after. Man, that was a messed up review. I should just stick to Succubus, but apparently I’m addicted to your writing. Maybe you should post a warning 8-P Author's Response: lol... i do believe that is a compliment! glad to see you back though. I do see your points. Severus won't really change all the much. He'll simply learn to accept certain things. Hermione will grow a backbone soon. I won't have a mushy ending, but it will be 'happy'. I'll have more up soon and thanks for the review. | I'm glad you've decided to continue this story. Though I don't know if you're going to write a happy end. Your Snape is too bitter, unsecure and, well, a prat.

| well you already know how I feel...a little bit anyway. I know sev is acting an ass...but love....well love is amazing and it takes some longer than others to "allow" into their lives. I like this aspect of him having to learn he isn't "weak" for having feelings.....but....but....he BETTER figure it out soon here....else Mione is gonna do something drastic I'm sure, I know I would.

| This is killing me because it’s so emotional (I love it). I feel so awful for Hermione. I mean, I know the phrase you can’t help who you love but it hurts to see her like this. I hope Severus comes to his senses before it’s to late. Is it wrong of me to also hope he has to pay for some of the pain he has caused her? It seems like in a great deal of the stories I read Hermione is the one who had to continue to look deep inside of Severus and past his emotional flaws for the hidden meaning. I respect that and I can see the relationship being like that in the beginning, but sometimes it just so heart breaking to read. Anyway, I love your work and this story is wonderful. I’ll be checking for updates daily, well maybe more than once a day :). Thank you so much for all of the effort you put into your stories. Once again I am sending you cheers and applause to rival the braves stadium.
