| You know, before reading your notes I was going to comment on the change in the tone of your writing. The emotional content of this chapter comes across with more depth, somehow. I'm not even sure how or why. If you choose to leave it here, you've met your objectives and left it with a sense of completion, and the possibility for a sequel down the track.

| Southern -- I hope you don't end it. I know that it seems that the situation between them is complete. Severus told her, in his own way, that he loves her. Hermione has forgiven him. But I really hope you don't end it here. If nothing else a very detailed epilogue. -- Now to what I thought of this chapter....... It was good. I could tell the difference in your mood. Hermione was way forgiving of Harry. I don't think that I could have been. I know that he was not the reason that she lost the one baby, but he did intentionally try to sabotage her marriage. He does not have to like her husband, but he should realize that by tearing at Severus he just hurts Hermione. And amazingly I like Ron in this story. Most of the time I don't. But you do a great job of turning him into a friend that Hermione deserves. I would love to see Severus find some family, but it is unlikely that he would welcome them with open arms. I mean, where have they been all of his life????? That is what I would want to know. To me it need something. One, maybe two more chapters or a Epilogue. I don't know. Most of the time it is so difficult to know where to end these stories. They could just go on. But this one Definately need something else..... Great job as usual......... -- B Author's Response: I'm thinking of doing some epilogues. Like epilogue 1: the portrait.... see what i mean? epilogue 2: Life at the Castle, etc.... lol... that way it wouldn't be as though it didnt end..it did, but i'm just tying things up. Funny how the mood can affect writing huh? sigh... I would like to think that Harry grows up, and she did forgive him quickly. I'm thinking she hadn't the energy to argue. At least Ron had a good head. I'd like to touch on Severus' other family. at this rate, i'll have four epilogues.. muahahah | |||

| While I love this story and wish that you would write more on it, you should do what you feel is best. There is no point in writing something that doesn't feel right-if it doesn't to you, it won't to us. This would be a good place to end it, and you can always come back with a sequel. Great chapter, and I hope to see you writing more whether it be a continuation of this or another fic. Author's Response: I'm thinking maybe of just taking a few days to myself. things much look differently. As of right now, I might do a couple of epilogues. Thanks for the support! | Good story. I would either end it here or an epilogue, showing how they believed it worth it to stick it through and such, perhaps a Harry/Severus confrontation that is at ease even if not friendly, etc. Thanks for sharing it with us. Author's Response: good thinking. I'll be sure to include harry in the epilogue so that all can see how they interact with each other. glad you liked the story. epilogue up soon. cheers! | |||

| You know, as I read the ending of this chapter, I also thought it would be a good place to stop. The loose ends are minor and one can always use one's imagination to fill in the blanks. I have really loved this story, and of course, will read it to the end (whatever that may be, LOL). Great job!
