| Well, well, well, Severus is totally in LURVE! Why is it that some men must see love as a weakness and not a strength? I wonder how Hermione will make him realize that. Seems Poppy knows just the right things to say at times. Got Severus thinking on the right track. Perhpas Severus can talk with Albus in a fatherly type way to get some perspective on feelings and men...or does Severus think Albus to be a sentimental Gryffindor fool? Perhaps Remus could give him some sound advice? Wow, one week and Hermione is already whinging up a storm. Then again, I'd be lonely too if hubby, my sole source of companionship, was hiding in his lab. At least all the little things he has to do for her gives him a chance to be with her without the whole sex thing messing up their minds until they can really determine how they feel about each other. And when Hermione is well enough, will she start to do little things for Severus that will endear her in his heart further? Harry...hmmm, can I boot his ass down the steps into the cellar and lock him in it for a fortnight? Jerk-off! Well, Hermione has come to terms with his part in it, let's see hoiw Harry asks for forgiveness, if he even bothers. Will Severus invite the Grangers over for dinner some night when Hermione is better? That sure would cheer her up even more. As always, loving it, loving it, loving it to pieces! Author's Response: I love that Poppy got on his arse hehe Severus probably thinks that there is nobody that could help him, but in the next chapter, the exact persons that he needs help from, will be able to. He'll be really shocked. Little Hermione shall help him out hehe I think I would go nuts as well. I love that they can't have sex and have to just be 'companions.' It just seems so much more intimate. About Harry, well, I'm thinking things will be all right. Severus would easily get away with murder in his own home otherwise. hehe I think it's time for them to move past that some. The Grangers will come for a visit soon. Your next chapter sounds interesting. I wonder what he'll find. My imagination, exhausted from hours of studying for finals, can only go so far as to suspect a diary. Author's Response: a diary is actually very close. He'll do a bit of reading and talking. I sort of like Hermione's sneakiness hehe It's just a pity he doesn't say those things when he talks to her. | Great chapter! I love how things are faring better for them now. Hope you don't torture Hermione too much (but do torture Harry as much as you want... the brat deserves punishment for what he did). | Great chapter! I'm very glad he's not listening to his father's voice anymore. I can't think of any fathers he can speak with that he respects - not Arthur Weasley, not Lucius - hmm, Hermione's dad? I just hope Hermione doesn't try to ever force Severus to say words of love; his actions may have to be enough. She's lucky he talks to her in her "sleep"! As for the next chapter and "something shocking" - sigh... I hope it's not disaster waiting in the wings. Harry better come armed with an apology! Author's Response: thanks! He's going to stumbled upon something that will make him rethink things. Hermione won't pressure him to love her, but she would like for him to love their child. his love will come on its own though. | Perhaps Severus should be reminded by Harry of how it is that he became "the boy who lived." Love is strength. More powerful than Death, it is. Sorry, my idealism and romanticism are showing. *blushes* Severus needs to realize that Love does not equate to weakness. You are doing a splendid job, hon:) I'm very much enjoying this one (as usual with your work!) and eagerly await the next installment. Author's Response: Too right. | OK, so Severus is a bit confused about love...understandable...however, he feels it makes him weak...what if Hermione were to, using her bed-ridden condition, make a reference to being weak. working it into her feelings...could that work. He wouldn't see her as weak b/c of the pregnancy, and could work through some of his feelings about it as well....nah, prolly wouldn't work...he'd feel manipulated again...can't wait to see what you have planned next...Hermione definitely needs to be feeling up to par for the visity by Harry, after all, she does need to give him what for about the accusations...Is Severus going to find something written by his father about loving his mother??? or vice versa?? Update again soon, I love this story. Author's Response: I think that with the next chapter he is going to have a whole new idea about what makes someone weak. you, dear, should earn House points for your guess.
