| Ah, I finally found the time to finish all nine chapters. You are doing a great job. I like how you are making Severus' changes and emotional growth a slow process. When you think about it, if you go with a more canon Snape, the changes would have to be slow. I disagree with the authors who think he can't be changed. People do break the cycle, and are capable of extreme change, but, it is not a fast or easy process (and they have to want to change). And, it frequently takes a life altering circumstance to set the changes in motion. You have all of these elements in your story. So, again, I say "great job!" ^_^ Author's Response: hiya! i'm so glad to see you about. Too right, he can't just change overnight, but changes are accomplished if one truly tries and has reason. | it just keeps getting better and better...i know when i read any of your work i will enjoy it and be left on the edge of my seat for the next update...i hope potter gets his...about time someone painted potter with a different brush...as much as i love my sneaky snape, i do on occasion love to see this side of him...until next time...take care...anxiously awaiting update...p.s...how many chapters are you considering for this story...again i say...keep up the good work:) Author's Response: I'm so glad that you like my writing. I tend to have some interestingly strange twists in my stuff. Potter will get his, but they will all eventually be on good terms again. I'm really not sure how many chapters this will be. I've sort of just been planning each chapter before I write it. I do have some ideas for further in but I really don't know how long it'll take to get there. I could say six chapters, but then that could be a fib. I think I'll sit down with an outline today to see where this might lead and give me a better idea. cheers! xoxoox sw69 | |||

| He knew that he’d been treating her badly. It was the only way he knew how to live. aw sad but beautiful...Snape really is a mess isn't he? He is feeling things he never thought he would be capable of feeling etc. It's so touching and with a writer like you Sun - it's just amazing and fantastic! This is truly a roller-coaster ride for Snape just as much as it is for us!

| Snape's mum sounds like a wonderful lady. It's such a shame she lost his sister!
There is one person to blame in this story and it's not Severus or Harry it's Severus' father! He's the one who put all those weird ideas in his head. Also if Severus wasn't so damn jealous of Harry he wouldn't have a problem with him. Yes, Harry goads him but only because it works, he knows pretty well that it gets to Severus.
I hope the remaining baby survives, poor Hermione! Author's Response: Right! Severus' dad was a jerk. i have a good twist concerning him in a later chapter :) Severus is very jealous of Harry! They'll resolve their issues mostly though. The baby will be fine. Thanks! More up soon. xoxo SW69 | |||

| I am so disappointed in Harry. He may rationalize that he was trying to expose Snape, but he's just being hurtful. Is it because of his wounded pride? He knows Severus didn't do the deed and Hermione is married and lost to him so why hurt her more? Severus is fully capable of getting in the poo on his own. The loss of the baby was sad but tempered by the strong possibility that it was inevitable. I hope Harry feels completley crappy about this. Good work SW69! Author's Response: harry could have done things better. i'm thinking that he was disappointed that snape got what he wanted. he didnt want snape to have hermione b/c of the way he treats her and acted about the little one. i guess in his mind he thought he was doing right, but i agree. no need to lie and fight in front of hermione. that was uncalled for. they work things out though. xoxo thanks! more up soon SW69 | |||

| Thanks for updating, I've been eagerly (and anxiously, too) awaiting this chapter and you didn't let me down. I'm glad Severus is apparently going to try to listen to his mother more.
Just one thing though. The word 'adulterated' isn't correct; it means 'made poorer in quality by adding another substance'. Snape should just have said that he hadn't committed adultery. Author's Response: and you know the sad part? i looked it up in the dictionary to check the spelling and to be sure it was a word hahahah!! i never even looked at the meaning. i'll go fix that now! too funny. I'm glad you liked this chapter. He's got a lot of issues, and I've decided on something interesting for a bit of a twist where is parents are concerned. more up soon. thanks! SW | |||
