| Oh, my...the poor girl...I certainly hope it is just a stomach bug (although one serious enough to really get his attention)...Don't think this story needs a preggars Hermione...at least not for a while. As for Severus' voice, it needs to bugger off--it causes too many problems...Chapter was great. I enjoyed it...Please update again soon!! Author's Response: well, i think it's a bit more than a stomach bug, and he will not be happy. i'm trying to have a diff take on preggie!hermione. we shall see though. i'm debating on a few things. :) | |||

| I think Snape is treating her better - small gestures yes but ...He must be in love with her! Interesting to see that he is the one who wanna end things. I wonder if he did what would happen - would he realise that he needs her more than he knows; you never know what you got until it's gone...I wonder what is wrong with Hermione...Ahem. | Wonderful chapter! I hope she's not pregnant, that would certainly mess things up. Do I think he's treating her better? Not even starting. She is in that phase where she "Thinks" she is standing up for herself and doing something. And he is playing with that, I mean, he knows she's still weak and easy to control. So he gives in a little, not meaning it at all, but then he starts again. Gods, it's so clear to see how it works from an audience POV. You were able to capture the exact thoughts that go through this kind of men's minds. The fear of being weak and seen as someone easily controlled... I mean, a man in his late thirties has those notions given by their parents so etched in their minds that it's almost impossible to change, and that's what makes it more pathetic when the woman thinks she can change him, that the little crumbs he throws her it's indeed progress. I still hate Severus even knowing he's not at fault for the way he is, but still... it sounds so much like my husband, it really irks me LOL and the funny thing is that men like that don't ever learn that women also get tired and no amount of love can survive through that kind of treatment, and when she simply gives up and moves on, he blames her for not giving him enough attention! LOL this fic is turning into therapy for me. Your writing is wonderful, you are a goddess ;-) Author's Response: Hi,doll. Pregnancy would mess things up, wouldn't it? Poor couple. I love how you have analized this. It's so beautiful! Like you can read right into it! Things will change in this story, but not much. As you said it's hard to change. Hermione will become stronger, and Severus will become more flexible (not soft though). I'm really glad that you are liking it! more up as soon as i can :) | |||

| Nice chapter, I see things changing with Severus just like you said :) My first thought after Harry's latest confrontation with Severus is that Hermione's pregnant. Could I be wrong??? LOL Author's Response: he's changing slowly. :) i would say that she probably is.. for now anyway | |||

| Sunshine, another great chapter:-).
I really like your Severus, you keep him so in canon. I believe if you’ve been spy half of your life, no wonder you don’t trust nobody. I can really imagine Severus like you describe him or I just have very livid imagination (I personally suspect the latter):-).
He seems to believe into motto, better run now before it’s too late. Wonder when he realizes that in the end, love is actually worth all the trouble:-).
