| Yahoo! Great ending -- I love it! Oh, I'm going to be so disappointed if Severus Snape turns out to be really evil in the final HP book, or gets killed or something else dire. The dude has suffered (...although much more explicitly in fanfic than in canon!), and he deserves some happiness. I really do think Hermione, the truly brilliant 'Gryffindore-know-it-all' could bring that miracle to pass.
Anyway, thanks for an enjoyable read with a satisfying ending. Author's Response: Thank you! I always worry when someone reads the story from the beginning. They expect it to be light and funny throughout, and then, they get a few chapters in and wonder, "What the hell did I get myself into?" | Oh, I hardly have hated Hermione... (hmmm, that alliterates, doesn't it?) I've been utterly furious with that rat-bastard Severus! What an idiot! He's got a young, sexy, woman, the most powerful witch with the finest mind of her age, acting like putty in his hands because she's in love with him, and he worries that she's making a fool of him? Bloody hell! He's too stupid to cross the street alone! Author's Response: At some points, she was very weak, allowing her heart to rule where her mind shouldn't, but it does work out (thankfully!). ~snicker~ Some men are berks when it comes to love and how to deal with it! | Very good story! I'm glad you ended it this way. I absolutely ADORE Snape, but at the beginning of this story I really disliked him (insufferable bastard!), but towards the end of the story he became the Snape that I already know and love. I do have a question (unrelated to the story) that maybe you could answer for me since I can't find the answer anywhere, not even in the FAQ's help section. What does Canon, A/U, OC, etc. mean??????????? Can you explain them all to me please? Anyway, thank you for writing such a good story! Author's Response: Canon means more true to the book (which is obviously the only true canon). AU is alternate universe. All stories are truly AU since we aren't JKR, but we use this to mean that we have things canon doesn't. Like Snape being a pureblood here while he's a halfblood in canon. OC is original characters not found in the books. I am glad that you've enjoyed the story. Things certainly worked out well for them even though he was a git in the beginning and most of the way through. :) | |||
