| Hey sweetie. Great chapter. My heart hurt for them both. I can't believe she went to see him one last time. (can I just say HOT!) lol. So of course he freaks when he realizes that he is going to loose her. I can't believe Sev went and told her parents. I would think she would not find this endearing. And will be hard pressed to forgive him. How ever will you fix this mess that man has made my dear? ;)

| First of all, I don't know who could be pulling for Harry in this story. He's been nothing but a spoiled brat throughout. As far as caring for Hermione, what he's showing is all his hatred for Snape, not how much he supposedly cares for her. As for the baby, I do hope it survives, but once again, Hermione will blame Snape no matter what happens. He told her nothing happened and she believed him. Until Harry came along. Harry, who doesn't know what happened, tells Hermione something and she immediately seems to believe him and runs off. If she really loved Severus I feel she would have believed him when he told her the truth. Author's Response: too right, and she's going to tell harry a few choice words in the next bit. She didnt just up and believe harry this time. She just wanted Severus to verify that he wasnt fastening his trousers while leaving a ho's house hehe And, she didnt want them to fight, but before she could do anything, she fell. there will be no more interference from harry or ron after this chapter. (which is a good thing) | |||

Excellent chapter...I don't think you made him too soft...I think he has had the beginning of a change of heart...not complete, but somthing is there...I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next! | So I wasn't going to review (though really I should, it's just hard to find words to say about stories I like) but then I read some of the reviews you've already received. Yes, Snape is a right bastard in this story, which fits with how he's been painted in canon. But what some of the other reviewers don't seem to grasp is that he is *not* an abuser. He *doesn't* think of Hermione as solely a possesion. He tries to think he does, courtesy of his father, but he doesn't. (er, at least in my interpretation, as I'm (obviously) not the author)
I wonder . . . . Hermione thought she had had her period that first month, and looking so pale after she'd talked to Poppy . . . maybe there was a mistake? No need for Snape to feel crushing guilt over harming the baby if there was no baby. And maybe this will enable him to silence his father's voice in his head for good . . . . Yeah, I'm an optimist.
So while I'm reviewing I just wanted to say that I love this story and you've done an excellent job with the characterizations. :-) Author's Response: right! oh i am so happy that someone brought this up! He tries to be indifferent to her, but he ends up not being, going against what he says. There is some info about the pregnancy. All was not as it seemed. He will get rid of his dad's voice though. thanks for reviewing and following the story. there will be a happy ending! cheers xoxox | |||
