| Interests include: Fanfiction featuring gothic romance with "unusual" pairings, such as Snape/Hermione, Lecter/Starling, Phantom/Christine, and Jack Dawson/Rose DeWitt-Bukater. I also enjoy the Van Helsing and Gone With the Wind fandoms...hmm, all those pairings have some elements in common, don't they? ;) Recently, I also find myself head-over-heels in love with Brokeback Mountain and the Jack/Ennis pairing. Normally same-sex pairings aren't my cuppa, but them boys are simply bewitching! Working on a fic for that too. Also enjoy horses, the out-of-doors and high-adventure activities such as canoeing. Currently I am at work on a Snape/Hermione fic that I had set out to do as a smut, but has presented a plot, and also one that looks to be mostly a smut with some added background. I also have a Van Helsing/Anna fic that is published in a fan magazine. I mostly write the NC-17 rating of fanfic but try my best to present the characters in a manner that pays tribute to the way they were originally designed by their creators, though I have been known to write other ratings as well. I am one of the few who has managed a G-rated Hannibal Lecter fic, if you can believe that. My nom de plume, Horserider, is also significant in that, to date, every fandom I find myself involved in sooner or later has a horse rider/s that makes its way somewhere into the plot. Even in Titanic, we see this in Southampton at the dock and in the gym. So I guess one could say I am rather a one-trick pony after all. ;) | |
