- It was the calm before the storm. I liked how it almost had an eery feeling...like the characters knew the worst was yet to come... and Turpin crying at the end was simpy angst ridden.
Once again - amazing story, and very well written. Thanks for the update. Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it and I'm also glad you didn't think that end bit with Turpin didn't go too far. This is primarily a fairly light-hearted fic, but the characters also have some serious things to deal with and I've been trying to show that honestly without getting too bogged down in the angst. Life is usually a mixture of laughter and tears all at once, it doesn't sort itself neatly into one catagory or the other! Thanks for the kind review! :) | |||

| Oh, you think we can be placated with some seriouly juicy lemons, do you? Like that'll make up for the Mother of All Evil Cliffhangers!? I think it's a good parallel that Severus and Hermione have been reading RotK to Turpin. A book where an evil wizard and an evil overlord are defeated is a good omen. Well written.. now Go.Write.More! Author's Response: *snicker* Well, if I am going to leave you with an evil cliffie, at least I softened the blow a little with the lemons, didn't I? I couldn't resist having them read Tolkien, it was appropriate in many ways. Tolkien is the father of the whole fantasy genre, and it shows, even in Harry Potter. | Hmmm, so the attack is to be the day after tomorrow. Our two protagonists have a lot of loving smut to get in before then! I think Turpin needs a chance to bad mouth ol’ Voldy… could be quite entertaining, the little bugger dancing around dodging curses, all the while foul mouth going full steam ;-> Great chapter Pook, ya got me looking forward to the ‘Final Battle’ scene as well. Also, a very belated Happy Birthday, and congrats on your festival 2nd place.
