| Just sat down to read this. Fantastic chapter. I was very happy to see Sirius offer to help her, even though he was terrified of going back, it was very brave of him. But that last part made me quite sad. I know her abilities will be able to help him, I just know it.

| What a rescue! I'm sure Snape isn't insane, he just can't believe that Hermione is there. And it won't help when he see Black either - then he will think he's crazy! I still don't like Hermione probing other people's feelings - she's invading their privace and she wouldn't like it done to her. It will just get easier for her to do it as time goes on and let whatever scruples she has about doing it just fade away. She could have just asked Sirius why he wanted to do it. Author's Response: Well, the girl's an empath, and that's what empath's do. Her gift is not nearly as invasive as Severus' Legilimens, so I think he is quite capable of holding his own. Personally, I think Hermione has shown amazing restraint. Instead of fannying about, reading folks emotions for fun, she has only done so when she thought it absolutely necessary. I'm quite proud of her! Thanks for the review! :) | |||

The rescue plan was very good : simple and believable.
Loved Draco's letter, go, Draco! (hope he won't get in troubles!)
And, oh, I sooooo love tortured Severus (yeah, i know .;))
The scene with Turpin sitting quietly on Hermione's lap was very touching.

| I can completely understand reviving Sirius. I'm already grumbling about the rumors that she's going to kill Snape off in the last book. If that happens I have a feeling the "Marriage Law" fanfics will turn into "Hermione revives Snape" fanfics fairly quickly. He'll be a ghost, she'll go into the past to save him, his spirit will take over someone else's body, ect. As you can see I've spent a good deal of time on this already. Oh, by the way, love what I've read of the story so far. I'm sure I'll post again. Author's Response: Thank you so much for the kind review! Personally, I doubt very much that JKR will kill off Severus, but that's only one woman's opinion. I do feel a bit like I'd best write my stories quickly before JKR does something unreversable to him! Thanks! :) | |||
